After their last encounter, Fifths matchup with Waves promised an exciting arm-wrestle to decide who played in the GF. Unfortunately, the Rugby Gods went off script and our boys simply couldn’t keep up with their opposition.

Thus concludes another excellent season by the Fightin’ Fifths. Always a great source of pride for us to consistently field a sixth team. Well done boys for finishing on the podium and thank you to Fifths Sponsors Imaje Joinery and The Bottle-O Hazelbrook. The unsung heroes of Blueys Rugby 💙

Seconds conversely flew out of the blocks, taking a dominant 24-5 lead into the break after the piggies went about the ugly work so our electric backs could take the boys up by 5s.

The final half was a nail-biter as Shammies turned the tide but some individual brilliance by Nadz and elite scramble from the rest of the team kept the lads with their noses in front long enough for Doc and Tommy’s men to punch their ticket to the big dance!

A massive effort by Coaches Doc and Tommy, and all the lads that have contributed to Second’s 2026 campaign.

TWO OUTTA THREE AIN’T BAD: Mjxed emotions for this weeks CarNet Western Sydney Results after yesterdays Semi Finals.

Fifths and Seconds romped home to big wins but our Colties incredible season comes to an end in a close loss featuring 3 yellows and a broken collarbone.

Jay Riik’s men never looked like losing in their 42 point win. Helped along by a Tainui double and clean sheet from goal kicking back-rower James Richey, the Fightin’ Fifths advance to a Prelim Final against our mates from Waverley.

Our Under 21’s were all heart in their loss, just running out of time to complete one of the all-time Colties comebacks. Patty Bourke was another dynamo with the boot while loosie Tylar was heroic in his efforts. The Barbour Cup dream comes to an end but our boys didn’t die wondering, inspiring our whole Club in the process.

Flying under the radar this season our Reserve Grade boys have steadily pieced together a formidable squad under the watchful eyes of star coaching duo Tom Teuma and Ian Docherty. Too strong for their opposition they lads have lined up a mouth watering tie-breaker and Grand Final qualifier against Petersham next weekend.
