How good was grand final day!
All games were entertaining, fast and very close, giving the spectators exactly what they came to see – awesome games of Touch Football.
B Grade Mixed Grand Final, Say & Co v Low Expectations. The score was all tied up for the majority of the game, Say & Co coming out victorious scoring a couple of late tries, 8-6. Player of the Grand Final was awarded to Brendon “Huck” Williams.
Referees: Beau Macrae, Katie Rossington
A Grade Mixed Grand Final, Touche v Ding Bats. The score was level at half time, 2 all. Touche came home hard to score a further 7 tries and Ding Bats another 2. Final score 9 – 4 to Touche. Player of the Grand Final was awarded to Odin Webster.
Referees: Damian Doust, Gus Macrae
Half way entertainment saw the Dash For Cash races, sponsored by Fair Dinkum Fresh & Co. Junior Boy winner Mason Watts, Junior Girl winner Scarlett Templeton both receiving $50. The Ladies winner Molly Chard and Men’s winner Macauly Green, both receiving $100.
Ladies Grand Final, Queen Bees v Say WHAT!. The half time score saw the young Queen Bees leading 6-3. The experienced Say WHAT! made a come back in the second half 6-4, just one short of an equal score. Queen Bees coming away with the win, 10-9. Player of the Grand Final went to Grace Rossington Taylor.

Men’s Grand Final, Danny’s Boys v Say & Co. Again the half time score was level at 4 all. Danny’s Boys proving too strong in the end winning 11-8. Player of the Grand Final was awarded to Corey Chaffey.

The touch competition just keeps getting bigger and better from year to year. A massive thank you goes out to everyone that registered this year, both seniors and juniors, without you we simply don’t have a competition.
