THE FIRST PRESENTERS ARE IN 👀
Meet three of the presenters you’ll hear from across The WA Coaches Conference, 10 & 11 October at Bendat Basketball Centre.

Rob Beveridge ‣
Technical Advisor at Basketball WA, Rob brings 35 years of coaching experience across 11 countries. He coached the Perth Wildcats to the 2010 NBL Championship and Australia to gold at the 2003 FIBA U19 World Championship, and was inducted into the Basketball NSW Hall of Fame in 2019.

Simone Allen ‣
Advanced Sports Dietitian, Simone will present Nutrition for Tournament Play. With more than 20 years’ experience across high-performance and developing athlete environments, Simone has worked with Basketball WA, the Perth Lynx, WAIS and the West Coast Eagles.

Adam Komatsu ‣
Strength & Conditioning Coach at the Perth Wildcats Academy, Adam will lead an on-court session on Teaching Young Athletes to Move.

The Representative Coach Course (formerly Level 2) is still running across the same two days, with all accreditation requirements included.

Not completing the accreditation? You can now register for the same weekend and access the same sessions and presenters - either across both days or for a single day.

Basketball WA is proud to launch The WA Coaches Conference: 2 days of coach education at Bendat Basketball Centre, with 12 presenters from inside basketball and outside it.

This is where the Representative Coach Course, formerly Level 2, is delivered, and this year it is open to every coach in WA. Come for the full weekend and finish with your accreditation, or come for a single day and take away something you can use at training on Monday night.

Presenters, session topics and the full schedule will be announced over the coming weeks.

2026 FIBA U18 Asia Cup Champions

A big congratulations to the Australian Emus on winning gold at the FIBA U18 Asia Cup after defeating China 89-79 in the Gold Medal game held on the weekend.
