The Dingley Cricket Club are delighted to welcome James Bridges to the club for the upcoming season.
A talented seam bowler with experience in both county and high-performance cricket environments, James brings an impressive cricketing résumé and a determination forged through adversity.
After spending three years away from the game due to injury, he made a remarkable return last season, regaining full fitness and immediately making an impact. Signing for Copdock & Old Ipswichian Cricket Club, on debut he claimed outstanding figures of 5/24, earning selection to represent Suffolk County Cricket Club across all three formats.
Prior to his injury, James competed within elite cricket pathways, representing Durham UCCE in List A fixtures against county opposition, including Durham and Northamptonshire. His time training alongside professional county players and bowling regularly to current and former England internationals has helped develop both his technical skill and tactical understanding of seam bowling at the highest level.
His journey back to competitive cricket is a testament to his resilience, work ethic and passion for the game. We are excited to see the experience, professionalism and quality he will bring both on and off the field.
Please join us in welcoming James to the club. We look forward to seeing him make a big impact this season.
