Darwin Clay Target Club An ACTA affiliated club offering S***t, Trap (DTL), Sporting, Tower, ISSF Trap and ISSF S***t. Visitors and new members welcome.

Refer to our web page for the competition program. The Darwin Gun Club (DGC) was formed in 1961 and was located at the old site behind the Darwin showgrounds in Winnellie. In 1975, the club hosted its first annual shoot; an event that has become well known around Australia in clay target circles and still continues today. DGC moved across to its current site on Abala Road, Marrara Sports Complex d

uring 1982/83. The government was indeed generous in its support, providing a large demountable from the old Darwin Hospital as a clubhouse at no cost and also a series of direct grants. Over the years the club has been able to develop its facilities to a level that is unmatched in north Australia or indeed any club in Australia of similar membership. It currently boasts of four down the line layouts, two American s***t layouts, one Olympic s***t layout, one Olympic trap (trench) layout, one Olympic double trap layout, a tower and finally a 5-stand sporting clays layout all set within landscaped grounds within a short driving distance of the majority of Darwin residents and near the international airport.

The NT S***t Carnival will be hosted by Darwin CTC this weekend Saturday to Monday.

Practice as usual will be open at the club on Wednesday this will include anyone who would like to practice s***t.

Come and Try will be available from 5pm.

GB 9s will be available at the club head over to Fishing & Outdoor World for 20g.

There is no DTL at Darwin this weekend. We will be back next week.

We're hosting a Trap and S***t referee course for Saturday 13 June. This is free training for those interested in becoming a qualified referee through the ACTA.

10am to 1pm with a light lunch provided.
