The Football Federation Northern Territory is a non-profit organization recognized as the peak body to promote, organize and develop the world game of football within the Northern Territory. The Federation is responsible for the overall management and promotion of football here in the Northern Territory. This includes overall corporate management, providing assistance & advice to Zone Councils, Standing Committees & Clubs as well as providing Territory-wide programs for the development of players, coaches and referees.

A huge moment for Territory football! 🇦🇺💚💛

Football NT is incredibly proud to celebrate Mark O’Connor’s selection in the Australia U15 National Select Team for the inaugural FIFA U-15 World Cup & Festival in Baku, Azerbaijan, this October!

Mark’s journey began at Greater Palmerston United FC, before moving to Mindil Aces FC and now Darwin Olympic SC, with each club playing a part in his development.

After representing Football NT at the 2026 U15 Boys Emerging Championships, Mark was identified through Football Australia’s Talent Development Scheme matches held in the Territory. He has continued his development through our Emerging TDS Training Program, alongside his club football.

His selection shows what’s possible when Territory players have opportunities to be identified and developed here at home, with a pathway to national representation.
