Zane set a new Zone Swimming record in the Boys 16 Years 50m Butterfly final, powering home in an impressive 28.3. Breaking a record that had stood for 24 years makes this achievement even more significant — highlighting the dedication and effort he has put into his training.

Great to see North Cronulla Surf Life Saving Club and Wanda Surf Life Saving Club also performing strongly, both finishing inside the top 10.

Well done to all our Sydney club crews and members who competed and represented our region with pride.

Elouera Surf Boats delivered an outstanding performance at the NSW State Championships held at Swansea Belmont from 27 February to 1 March 2026.

With over 50 clubs travelling from across New South Wales to compete, the event showcased the very best in surf boat competition.

Facing tough and demanding conditions throughout the carnival, Elouera rose to the challenge.

The difficult surf brought out the exceptional skill, strength, and determination of both our rowers and sweeps, ultimately securing a well-earned first place, as this is the first time in our club’s history, we have achieved this result ahead of Palm Beach (NSW), with South Curl Curl claiming third.

This victory comes from a strong representation across the entire boat section in all divisions - masters , opens , reserves , u23’s & u19s from both male & female crews .

This result is a testament to the dedication, teamwork, and commitment shown by everyone involved in the boat section, which has been many years in the making.
