Who can own and sell buildings on Crown Land in NSW with a lease agreement? These are some examples -
- Cabins in caravan and holiday parks
- Boat sheds, storage sheds and club buildings at commercial marinas
- Commercial and residential enterprises operating under Crown tenure
So why not existing stable owners at Coffs Harbour Racecourse? Would love to hear an explanation.... 🤷‍♀️

The aim was for Coffs Harbour to be a vibrant and thriving training venue. The stark reality is a desolate ghost town. We would like to turn that around. In the light of the silence surrounding the position of the stable owners, we have come to the conclusion that no one actually cares what happens here 🤷‍♀️ That being the case then we must be free to on-sell our stables as always. So if you would like to pick up a bargain, we have a great stable building for sale. Coffs is nice and central, lovely place to live 😊

In early August we were granted a meeting in regard to the stable ownership situation in Coffs Harbour. This is the first chance we have been able to speak to someone in well over 12 months, so it felt like a breakthrough and a positive step towards an amicable and simple resolution. Since that meeting there has a been a total absence of communication. Once again, a complete disregard for the toll this is taking on all stable owners. Unfortunately, it appears we now have to move forward in a different way. Disappointing to say the least 🙁
In the meantime, another trainer has walked away from Coffs Harbour with a sour taste in the mouth. You have to wonder what is the purpose of treating people this way 🤔
