Cedarview Performance Horses

Cedarview is a boutique warmblood stud focused on breeding superior quality Hanoverians. No shortcuts are taken in regards to health, diet and limb care.

It is run by Kai Goyen and Joshua Boom on the beautiful South Coast of NSW. We are just 10 minutes from Willinga Park, 2 hours from Canberra and 3.5 hours from Sydney. We prioritise producing highly functional dressage horses, with a particular emphasis on soundness and excellent temperaments. With Kai's background as a vet we know how important it is to have a structurally sound partner to progress through the levels with. We also only breed a couple of foals each year, so that every horse gets all of the time and attention that it requires to allow them the best start in life. We have carefully selected our mares for conformation, temperament and pedigree. They are from highly successful imported damlines, and whilst we actively work towards breeding dressage horses, there is enough jumping genetics to produce high level eventers as well. Our currently active mares are Callum Park Zara and Sevenoaks Rafaela. Callum Park Zara is by the influential Glock's Zonik who won team silver at the European Championships with Edward Gal and is starting to make his mark as a sire of Grand Prix dressage horses. She is out of the imported Feiner Stern x Rubinstein mare Vedette de Feiner Stern who produced 2 FEI dressage horses (one in Australia and one in the Netherlands) and is from the same damline as Olympic Bonfire. Zara consistently passes on a wonderful elegant type and loving calm temperament to her progeny. Her previous progeny are Cooramin Delarouge (by De Niro), Cooramin Disneyland (by Danone), Cooramin Dreamtime (by Danone), Cooramin Fire Dancer (by Fidertanz and Hanoverian Gold Foal) and Cedarview Delara (by Bluefields Dankeschoen and ACE Elite Foal). Sevenoaks Rafaela is our latest addition, she is by the 2017 Hanoverian Stallion of the year Rotspon who is known for passing on amazing temperaments. She is out of the Graf Landau mare Kinnordy Goslar who was also the mother of Kinnordy Gera (a Grand Prix Dressage horse in NZ), as well as multiple other eventers and dressage horses. Rafaela's damline goes back to the imported mare Wolfangel, who was a sister to the influential stallion Daktylus. It is also the same dam line as the highly successful young german stallion Damaschino. Her previous progeny are Sevenoaks Don Diego (Champion show horse), Sevenoaks Fenrys (highly successful young dressage horse including - 2022 NSW State Preliminary Reserve Champion), Sevenoaks Infatuation (Hanoverian Gold Foal) and Sevenoaks Iconic (Hanoverian Gold Foal).

🥀𝑾𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒐𝒘𝒃𝒖𝒓𝒏 𝑭𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒐𝒔𝒂 🥀
Some of you have correctly guessed that we have purchased the stunning filly Fiderosa from Willowburn Stud. She is by the supersire Fidertanz and from the sensational imported mare Desideria (De Niro/Weltmeyer).

Rosie has several successful siblings including;
🧡 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐧 𝐅𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐞 (full sister) - 2024 Australian Champion 3yo Hanoverian mare, 2025 Dressage NSW Preliminary Dressage Horse of the Year, now winning Novice with over 73%
🤎𝐀𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐘𝐨𝐮 (3/4 brother by Fiderfurst) - 2024 QLD Newcomer Dressage Horse of the Year, multi champion show horse
🖤 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐧 𝐆𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐨 (1/2 brother by Glamourdale) - 2024 Australian Champion Oldenburg C**t Foal

Rosie is a very impressive girl with so much cadence and power. We are really looking forward to her joining the broodmare team. Unfortunately a shoulder injury earlier this year may mean that she may never be ridden, but we will revisit this in time.

𝑴𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒐𝒏 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒏𝒆𝒘 𝑭𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒛 𝒇𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒚... We mentioned that she comes from a very good dam line, and a strong dam line is one of the hallmarks of all of our Cedarview mares! 🧡

Our new girl Rosie is out of the imported De Niro/Weltmeyer mare Desideria (more about her and her progeny tomorrow).

This is a very strong damline that has produced many FEI dressage horses, State Premium mares and Licenced Stallions including the Premium Licenced stallions 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐨 (Vivino), 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐦𝐚𝐧 (Soliman) and 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐠 (Hochadel).✨

Of particular note;
🐴 𝐙𝐈𝐍𝐂 𝐄𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐚 𝐎𝐋𝐃 (Escolar) - she is out of the sister to Desideria. Escalla competed at the World Young Horse Championship as a 6yo, and more recently was the 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐄𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧.

🐴 𝐕𝐞𝐮𝐯𝐞 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐪𝐮𝐨𝐭 (Vitalis) - one of Germany's top rising Grand Prix stars with Frederic Wandres. Scores of up to 75% and Qualified for the 2026 Louisdor Cup Final. His grandmother is a full sister in blood to the grandmother of our new girl.

With these well performed relatives, we are very excited to have access to these incredible genetics! 🧬

Our exciting news from a few weeks ago has finally boarded the truck in QLD and is on her way to us! We have purchased a 3yo filly as a future broodmare. She by the one and only Fidertanz, and from an illustrious damline. Keep your eyes peeled for more information! 👀

🌟 Fidertanz – A Dressage Stallion That Continues to Shape the Future of Sport Horse Breeding

When breeders are searching for a stallion that combines world-class movement, exceptional rideability, proven performance and an outstanding pedigree, Fidertanz (Fidermark I x Ravallo) is a name that consistently stands out. 🐴✨

Standing among the world's elite dressage sires, Fidertanz has earned an outstanding reputation for producing modern, athletic horses with expressive paces, willing temperaments and the talent to excel from young horse classes right through to Grand Prix. His combination of power, elasticity and trainability has made him a favourite with both professional riders and ambitious breeders across Europe.

🏆 Fidertanz's own career is packed with achievements. He was crowned Champion Stallion at the NRW Licensing in Münster, won his stallion performance test with outstanding scores, became Vice German Champion and later progressed to successful international Grand Prix competition. In recognition of his remarkable influence on breeding, he was named Hanoverian Stallion of the Year in 2021.

His exceptional pedigree is another major attraction. By the legendary Fidermark I, a Bundeschampion and Grand Prix winner renowned for passing on superb rideability, and out of a Ravallo mare from an elite performance family, Fidertanz offers generations of proven dressage genetics. This bloodline consistently produces horses with excellent temperaments, strong hindleg engagement and expressive movement that judges love to see.

🌟 The true measure of any breeding stallion is the success of their offspring, and Fidertanz has exceeded expectations. His sons and daughters have competed successfully at international Grand Prix level, World Championships, European Championships and even the Olympic Games. Many of his licensed sons have gone on to become influential breeding stallions themselves, ensuring his legacy continues for generations to come.

❤️ Breeders particularly value Fidertanz for consistently producing foals with:

Elegant, uphill conformation
Three expressive, high-quality paces
Outstanding rideability and temperament
Natural balance and elasticity
The athletic ability to progress through the levels

These qualities make him an excellent choice for mares needing refinement, movement and proven dressage genetics.

Whether your goal is to breed an international Grand Prix prospect, a talented young horse or a quality amateur partner, Fidertanz offers one of the most reliable combinations of performance, pedigree and proven breeding success available today.

If you're planning your next breeding decision, Fidertanz deserves a place at the very top of your shortlist. 🌿🐎
