Why wouldn’t you bank with Regional Australia Bank? How bloody awesome are they! As a part of their Community partnership program we received a massive $9,448.50 last night! This is all because of those of you who bank with them and have chosen to support us!! We cannot thank you all enough, RAB gave out over 69 thousand dollars just in Cobar last night! So if you bank with them, and want to support not just us but any other recipients in this awesome program just pop into a branch and have a chat about it! A huge shoutout to Ang from Ay-Jays Cafe for jumping on board with us again in 2026 and supporting the sport of Rodeo!

The team at Ay-Jays will always go above and beyond to make sure they are providing the highest of quality service in the hospitality industry and the food never disappoints! Be sure to keep an eye out on what’s going on especially around rodeo time as I got a feeling they will make sure your needs are definitely catered for pre and post rodeo!

Not sure why but Cobar is definitely having a novice bullride aswell as our local novice bullride (two completely different events)! I’ve emailed abcra to correct our program ASAP!!!! We were told we had to advertise our local bullride aswell so when the program was amended by abcra they have remove our novice bullride!

I will get this worked out tomorrow but there will definitely be a novice Bull ride at our 2026 rodeo and prize money is $1000

Big thanks to Les from Parnaby Rodeo Bulls for making time today for a couple of our local novice riders and a junior bull rider! Les started with the basics with the boys today, had them on the drum before they all climbed in the chute and got a taste of the action!

Safe to say they all got a taste and couldn’t wait to climb back on and improved every trip!

Thanks again Les, they boys will definitely put on a show for us come October 3rd!
