💜🥎The magical postseason run for the University of Mount Union softball team came to an end tonight against Belhaven, but what this team accomplished will be remembered for years to come.

This season was filled with milestones and moments that had never been achieved before in program history. From making history at every turn to earning the program’s first trip through uncharted postseason territory, these Purple Raiders showed what is possible when talent, belief, and determination come together.

Following the game, Head Coach Meghan Simons had a simple message for her team: walk off the field with your heads held high.

For seven seniors, tonight marked the final game of their collegiate careers. While their playing days at Mount Union have come to an end, their impact on the program never will. They leave behind a legacy of leadership, perseverance, and history-making achievements that future Purple Raiders will build upon for years to come.

Thank you, seniors. Thank you, Purple Raiders. The season may be over, but the standard you set and the history you made will forever be part of the Mount Union softball story.
