Hello everyone,

Please find below the competition rules, which is emailed out with the nomination forms. Thought I would post them here as well so everyone has easy access to them if needed.

‼️ Reminder: Hunting for the competition officially begins at 6:00pm on the 30th of September and concludes at weigh-in on the 3rd of October. ‼️

Please also note that all nomination forms, including signed land consent forms and full payment, must be submitted by the 1st of September.

Entries will only be confirmed once all required paperwork and payment have been received. Nomination forms submitted without payment will not be processed into the system.

Hi everyone,

We’ve received a lot of questions regarding the rules stating “No team entries – individual entries only,” so we’d like to clarify how the competition works.

This rule simply means that all competition entries must be submitted individually. Competitors cannot enter as a team, and each person may weigh in up to 3 pigs under their own individual entry.

The main question we’ve been asked is:
“Can we still hunt with our mates, or do we have to hunt alone?”

The answer is yes — you are absolutely allowed to hunt with your mates during the permitted hunting period for the competition. The only restriction is that entries must be submitted individually and not as a team.

To answer a lot of the questions we’ve been receiving — there will be no team entries for this event. All nominations and entries will be individual entries only.

However, just because entries are individual does not mean you cannot hunt with others. Participants are still welcome to hunt together, provided everyone involved has got consent and all competition rules are followed
