Race Recap Night 4 of Thunder In The Canefields:
Annabell:
Heat 1 started 7th finished 7th
Heat 2 started pole finished 5th we saw a new Annabell in this heat where she put her foot down and had such a great go at it and did so well.
Feature saw Annabell start out of 6th and started with the group and held her own for most of the race until she raced the wheel off the car (literally) and landed in the wall. We are so proud of how far Annabell is coming along in her racing and even got her best race time of 19.741 seconds!
Jaydyn:
Heat 1 started 6th finished 6th
Heat 2 started 3rd finished 6th
Feature started out of 8th and pushed his way up to 6th and battled with Matilda and Jaxon for the next spot and all 3 lost out when Millie swooped in and went straight passed all of them and Jaydyn spun out but race declared and Jaydyn finished 7th!
What an amazing 4 nights of racing the kids have had with so many ups and downs but they had fun and that’s what racing is all about!
We would like to say a huge thank you to all of the supporters and family who come from near and far to watch our kids race, they love having you there.
Also a huge thank you goes out to Michael for being Mitchells pit crew for all our race meets and our newest pit crew member Ethan who came on board this weekend to learn the ropes, thank you both so much we appreciate you more than you will ever know.
Now to the fixing of the cars ready for our next race in 3 weeks (29th August) at Pioneer Park.
