Some rule information sheets you will see on the score bench at games. It clears up some of the confusion around league specific rules. Please make sure we all understand the rules of our kids' games, respect the referee's and GDO's, cheer loud but doing it positively!!!

This week is a little different as a TM contacted me and asked if they can recognize their whole team. Under the circumstances we thought of course. We couldn't be prouder of our Under 12 Hawks, they are a U10 team that decided to challenge themselves and in fairness to the U10 competition move up age groups a season earlier after dominating the U10 division A in the Summer season. These kids play with so much heart and passion each week it is crazy!!! Keep up the great work Hawks and I can't wait to keep seeing you ballin' well into the future.

On Saturday we had an incredible U10 Girls game that saw the Bunyip Diamonds vs Bunyip Spirit. It was an incredible game that saw the friends have big smiles all through the game. It was a very close game, but the highlight was the great sportsmanship through the whole game, with even the opposing coaches cheering and supporting the other team. Well done to the Spirit who ran out eventual winners 15-9.

This weeks player in Focus is another one of our littlest superstars. Zach Pullen is a U10's Player that shows so much grit and determination on the court. A great defensively minded player that has so much fun on the court.

A new weekly segment this season will be a random player selected to be the weekly player in focus. This week it is one of our little superstars Roy Scott. Roy is a new U10's player that every time he takes the court you can see how much fun he is having. Keep up the good work Roy!!!
