We were incredibly lucky with the weather for our May Pony Club rally — the rain threatened all day but thankfully stayed away! ☀️🐎

It was a fantastic, action-packed rally filled with dressage, games, show jumping, flat work, cross country, and scenic trail rides. Plenty of smiles, learning, and horsey fun shared by all who attended. Another wonderful day spent doing what we love most! ✨💚

What a fantastic weekend our members had at our March Pony Club rally! 🐎✨

A big thank you to the Grounds Committee and Cardinia Council for organising the clean-up and widening of the cross-country course — it’s looking amazing.

It was great to see so many of our members out there making the most of the grounds!

Lillico and District Pony Club is immensely proud to have four of our members representing the West Gippsland Zone in showjumping at the 2025 Pony Club Victoria State Showjumping and Dressage Championships! 🏆🐎

This thrilling event will take place on the last weekend in February, at the Warrnambool Showgrounds, hosted by Wannon Zone.

These devoted riders have been training tirelessly and competing throughout the year to qualify for this prestigious event, earning the honour of representing West Gippsland against the top riders from across Victoria.

Mentone Pony Club Bendigo Bank Horse Trials 2025

Earlier this month, five determined Lillico and District Pony Club riders packed up their trusty mounts and headed to the Mentone Pony Club Bendigo Bank Horse Trials 2025. Competing across Pony Club Grades 6 & 3 and Open Grades 4 & 5, our riders kicked things off with some very solid performances in the dressage phase.

The challenge ramped up on cross country, with a demanding and technical course that proved a real test — eliminating nearly half the field across the competition. Our Lillico riders showed great grit and horsemanship to tackle the conditions.

🌟 Standout results included:
• Piper Gleeson on My Kind of Guy — 🥉 3rd place, PC Grade 3
• Holly Slater on Roadie — 🎖 5th place, PC Grade 6

A fantastic effort from all riders — you should be incredibly proud! 💪🐎

🏆 Team Lillico working it at the Ranvet 2025 PCA Nationals! 🏆

Lillico members Alissa Scott White on Spidora and Stella Ritson on Baxters Irish Town rode their hearts out over five tough show-jumping rounds — giving it absolutely everything! 💪💥

Both riders finished an incredible 7th overall, with Stella smashing a 2nd place finish on Day 2, and Alissa helping her team take out the 🥇 Winning Sub Junior Team Overall! 👏

Then to top it off, Tim and Lily Wilson joined them to proudly fly the Lillico flag at the Nationals Presentation Night — where Tim was awarded 🌟 Best Achievement by a Rider Over 25 🌟 (proudly sponsored by Equinade)! 🎉

We couldn’t be prouder of our amazing Lillico crew — what a team! 💚🐴
