Rick had his first sit in the new Bates Apex thanks to our legends at Horseland Perth 🙌

The feedback on this saddle has been excellent, and once you sit in it you’ll know why. Pretty useful when the jock likes to give a proper send in a jump off ! 😂

Still letting this one sink in…

EWA Jumping Rider of the Year 2025 🏆

And honestly, what makes it even better is that both of our homebred horses were nominated for Jumping Horse of the Year. That part hits hard.

This season was a big one 😂

Afrodizijak E kicked it off by taking out the Grand Prix of WA in style.

Not long after, Luisianna E stepped up to finish 2nd in the Patrons Cup.

Then we packed up and did the three-week mad dash and back across the Nullarbor for the Australian Championships. Long trip, big atmosphere, with Luisianna placing in the 1.50 Mini Prix against the best in the country.

We came home and she went on to win the State Senior Title.

Between them, they built this year. They gave Rick the chances. They showed up every time and never once said ‘no’, picking up wins and placings along the way.

Rider of the Year might have his name on the trophy, but it belongs to the horses just as much.

To all our friends, thank you for making last season so much fun!

2025 ended at the WA State Championships with the State Senior Title. With multiple wins prior including the GP of WA, consistent placings and a massive trip to Boneo for the Australian Championships - it’s been a cracking season!
