Hills BMX Club Official Race Track, Lesmurdie. OPEN TRACK!

Been a hot minute since I've been back on a race track, and a first for the boys. They took to it like fish to water but it definitely highlighted some things for me. For one, bike gearing is important! I was pedalling hard and going nowhere on the old street hack 😅. Full face helmet and proper riding gear recommended, I felt very vulnerable without it so no, I didn't hit the pro line on the 3rd straight 🫣. Very grateful to Hills BMX Club for keeping this an open track, allows kids exposure to a race track and introduction without the large crowds of a race meet.

Brown Park Jumps & Skatepark, Swan View.

Random little find by chance here. Quiet spot at the back of the cricket club, looks to be community built and maintained. Could do with some more dirt, a re-shape and compacting. Ok for the locals but wouldn't necessarily go out of the way to go back here unless it had some upgrades.

Koongamia Pump Track & Playground.

Quality built pump track with a couple of spots to launch but no jumps lines here. The park has 2 playgrounds, a challenging ninja warrior obstacle course, 1/2 court basketball and netball ring, shelters and water fountains but no toilets.

Aduro Park Bike Trail, Eglinton

We had a lot of fun here, good spot with plenty for all levels. Couple of good Jump lines with 2 jumps each, one of the advanced lines is definitely designed for mountain bikes with a couple of big rock drops so be sure to look around before you send it. Also a small skills track with a few obstacles.

No toilet block here unfortunately which nearly ended in disaster, would be a handy addition to say the least.

Sussex Bend Playground and Pump Track, Lower Chittering.

This one would have been amazing if it hadn't been so poorly maintained. The pump track is un-rideable and so worn away that its hard to see how to ride it. The jump lines were covered in a lot of debree and the dirt has worn away from the bottom of some of the launch ramps. My blower wasn't enough, next time will need to take a shovels, rake and broom. Great spot for LC residents but a bit out of the way for the general public, potential hidden gem.

Gibson Park Pump Track, Padbury

Nice flowey pump track with a couple of spots for a scooter, unfortunately no jumps here. Nice clean park with shelters, toilet blocks and a good playground. Great for the little ones as it has a bigger feel to it than some pump only tracks but wouldn't get too busy with advanced riders.

Ran into the locals, great bunch of lads with good energy. Polite and patient with the younger inexperienced riders, even gave this rusty old cog a few tips. Cheers lads hope to see you around, keep at it.

This ones a bit nostalgic, the ol' stomping ground. This was the first official council built Pump track in Perth (2017) and still a great spot. Good Jump lines, decent pump track and a seperate asphalt road track complete with road signs and markings. Also features a good playground and a toilet block, just off the Shepherds Bush Trail.

Shepherds Bush Reserve Pump Track, Kingsley.

This ones a bit nostalgic, the ol' stomping ground. This was the first official council built Pump track in Perth (2017) and still a great spot. Brabham Estate- Honeycomb Playground & Pump Track

Nice spot for the little ones, great playground and decent enough pump track to keep the little ones entertained. There's a couple of spots you can hip transfer over berms if your really wanting somewhere for a bit of air time as there aren't any jump lines here.

Bina Parkland Skate Plaza & BMX Track, Balga

One word... Impressed!
City of Stirling have really outdone themselves here. This is a great space for all levels, ages and has everything. Elite skatepark, good size jumps line, pump track, playground, basketball court, netball court, outdoor gym equipment, shade, drink fountains, toilets, across from shops and public pool.
