Extinction Ultimate Club We aim to develop players who are not only competitive and skilled but who's love of the game is fostered on the principles of SOTG.

Ultimate frisbee club based in the Western Suburbs of Brisbane- we focus on delivering high quality junior, beginner and intermediate adult programs, competitive adult offerings and social tournaments throughout the year! Founded in 2014 with the aim to provide Brisbane players with an alternative club focused on spirit, inclusion and support Extinction participates in Australian Ultimate Champion

ships DII, Australian Beach Ultimate Championships, Australian Mixed Ultimate Championships DII and other tournaments throughout the year. The aim of the Extinction Ultimate Club is to provide a platform for players of all skill level in Brisbane to train and play year round in a supportive, inclusive but competitive environment. Extinction Ultimate believes that gender equality and inclusion is central to the development and growth of our sport. We welcome players of all skill level and backgrounds to come and join us at trainings, leagues, and/or tournaments and become part of the Dino Family!

1 Week to go until Junior UltiMate Programs commence!

Whilst JUMP usually commences in Week 2 our wonderful coaching crew are in Adelaide this weekend participating in or volunteering at DI Australian Ultimate Championships so JUMP Term 2, 2026 starts in Week 3 and runs through until Week 10 (U16s and U18s)!

This means there's another week to register and share the activity with your friends!

Looking for a fun, inclusive sport that builds teamwork, confidence, and fitness?

In Term 2 we have TWO options for Junior Players:

U16s Junior UltiMate Program at Yeronga State High School starts May 4th (MONDAY), 2026 4-5:30PM
👧🧒 Open to juniors of all experience levels
💛 Focus on fun, skill development, and inclusive play

U18s JUMP at CJ Greenfield Richlands starts May 7th (THURSDAY), 2026 6-7:30PM
🔴Open to juniors aged 14 and up who have participated in U16 JUMP.
🟢Open to juniors aged 16 and up with school experience
🥏Focus on skill development, strategy consolidation and game awareness

It was a MASSIVE Day Three for Extinction at the Australian Ultimate Championships DII in Shepparton.

A win against Outbreak (SA) put us up against Tom's Tim Tams (also SA). The boys were decisive in their final game to secure ninth spot- beating our initial 11th place seed and securing the club the highest finish at a nationals!

There were great displays of GRIT from young and old(er) this weekend as the team ended up 6W-1L! What a weekend!

A MASSIVE effort by the team this afternoon to come e away with the W against Duff Stout- a team we've come up against year after year in Shepparton. The wind picked up and after an early Ext lead Stout showed us another gear and punched a few goals and breaks in to make it a tight game! Fortunately Ext hung on and got the W!

1️⃣ sleep to go before the Australian Ultimate Championships DII kicks off in Shepparton, VIC.

🥏Extinction are en route to Shepparton today ready for three days jam packed with bids, skies, hucks and blocks. 🥏

The 2026 team combines experienced players from the Brisbane Ultimate scene with juniors who have been grinding in Extinction's Junior Programs for the last few years, progressively making their open age group debuts and claiming the U20 representative spots.

The 2026 team has had a strong start to the season with a win a 2nd place at Brisbane Bash and a 7th place finish at Canberra Cup. We're looking forward to carrying this momentum and the learnings from these games into AUCDII!
