Clout Motorsport Official page for Clout Motorsport Clout motorsport is a karting team formed by 10 year old Jensen Clout and his father Daniel.

Jensen was given a taste of karting when he competed in a dozen cadet hire kart events at the age of 9. Naturally he wanted something more and tried out a competition kart at Ipswich Kart Club courtesy of their organised Come and Try days. Jensen was completely hooked and entered his first competition kart meeting with Auskart on 7 May 2022 aboard his new Torini powered Parolin kart where he showed excellent potential from the start. Daniel has previous karting experience from 1988 through to 2003 where first raced in Junior National Heavy and moving onto senior class Clubman Heavy the following year. Later he competed in Clubman Super Heavy in the late 1990’s and finally onto Rotax Heavy in 2002 and 2003. He recently rejoined racing in October 2022 aboard a Torini powered Arrow X6 kart alongside Jensen.

Well that did not go to plan! We soon realised despite efforts to work around the kart is still carrying issues that could not be resolved on race day. We called it quits after race 2 as it was apparent we need to go back to the workshop to resolve the issue.

We’ll get it sorted and be back on track in Gladstone for Round 6 of the Auskart Racing Sprint series being hosted by the Gladstone Kart Club on Saturday 5 September! This will be the team’s first time to the Gladstone circuit and will double as a test session for the Queensland State Trophy to be held in November.

So a late withdrawal for Jensen from this weekend's 4SS City to Country round at Toowoomba with a chassis issue.
We now look forward to Round 7 of the Cooloola Coast Kart Club Championship being held on Sunday 23 August where Jensen will be competing in his Senior Light class!

Sunday 2 August was Round 3 of the Auskart Racing Endurance Series hosted by the Warwick Kart Club and completed the double header weekend of racing.

Our Senior Light team knew they had pace in the kart and while it looked a little battered after Saturday, it was fast. The boys decided to let Caine take control of qualifying and he didn’t disappoint putting it on pole to start at the front of his class for the standing start.
Jensen had worked out the plan with the help of the boys and after their competition had a moment on the spilt oil from another kart it was really for them to lose. They then went forward and executed their plan nicely with really good pace across all 3 drives. The result was a commanding win by 3 laps also leading the race outright at the finish! Good to see more points added to their championship lead at the half way mark.
Congrats to Jensen, Caine and Jaxon for another outstanding drive!

With our third Senior Heavy co-driver Ben unable to make the event we adjusted our strategy for 2 drivers. After Jay got warmed up in pre race practice, Dan took over for qually. This time he didn’t quite nail it but set the team up for a handy P2 start. Jay took the first drive and bought it back in touch with the field. Dan had this second stint however the Full Course Yellow triggered did not really work in their favour. At the restart Dan managed to get ahead of the other competitors in class before needing to pit. Back to Jay for another stint and back to Dan to take it home in P3.
So the Senior Heavy team currently sits second in the championship and will need to work hard in the second half to move forward, a challenge we will happily take on!

So now we take a 2 week break before Jensen heads to the next Karting Australia 4SS City Country round at the Toowoomba and Lockyer Valley kart Club over the two days of 15 & 16 August. We’re looking forward to it!

Last Saturday saw the team head to Warwick Kart Club for round 5 of the Auskart Racing SE QLD Sprint Championship and day one of a double header.

A bit of a tough day for Jensen in the sprints. He started the day with issues in practice however he bounced back securing fastest qualifier to take pole for race 1. Race one he came in P2 after a last lap move that didn’t quite work out. Race 2 is where it all went wrong when he was almost sent into the wall after being turned around on turn 2. From that point he was in recovery mode battling limited laps and some questionable mid field tactics resulting in being sent off track again.

At the end of the day he ended P4 however he has good pace and maintains a handy championship lead.

Dan had a great day securing pole position for race 1. Despite a lot of pressure from Ed he come away with 3 race wins and a second place to end as the winner for round 5 of the sprint series!

Dan extended his healthy championship lead which is now into its second half.

Sunday 7 June was Round 2 of the Auskart Racing SE QLD Endurance series held at the Bundaberg Kart Club following the sprint series the previous day. The Senior Light team of Jensen, Jaxon and Caine got back together as well as the Senior Heavy team of Dan, Jay and our new team member Ben.

After a win in round 1 the Senior Light team were keen to back it up. It was a race of changing fortunes with them having to tackle throttle issues for most of the race to the tide turning when the fast opposition of Oli and Keanu incurred a drive through penalty, this just gave our boys enough space to hang on and carry it over the line for another well deserved win!

The Senior Heavy team sent out new recruit Ben to qualify for this round, well he didn’t disappoint taking a solid pole position for the team! After round 1 being a disappointing P4 they were determined to improve on that and a P1 starting position was a good start. Following a series of ups and downs and being on the wrong side of a Full Course Yellow advantage the team managed to take P2 for the day… With only more laps P1 may have been possible however that’s racing! Congratulations to team Easy Peasies for taking the win this round.

We now take a substantial break and head back on track on 1 August for Round 5 of the Auskart Racing Sprint Series to be hosted by the Warwick Kart Club.

Saturday 6 June we were at Bundaberg Kart Club for Round 4 of the Auskart Racing SE QLD Sprint Series!

Both Jensen and Dan came into the round in the lead of their respective Senior Light and Senior Heavy championships with the intent of extending those leads!

Jensen in his Senior Light class appeared to be a little late to grid for qually and no sooner found himself stuck in the pack. As a consequence he had to abort some hot laps. He finally found some space only to have the session ended just cm from crossing the line and having what would have been his best lap not counted. Despite this he still managed P2 on grid for race one.

Race 1 was hard fought between himself and pole sitter Harrison with positional changes only to cross the line back in P2 at the end just 0.08sec behind the winner.

Race 2 and he seemed to get a good start from P2 moving ahead of the pack on the outside only to end up off the circuit dropping to P8. He made somewhat of a recovery fighting his way back to P5 in the tightly contested field.

Race 3 and on his warm up lap he found the oil slick from an earlier race sending him into a spin and consequently having to now start the race in P8. Luckily he had 20 laps to try to recover and he found progress was challenging with some racers just determined to keep him behind. Eventually he broke loose making his way to P3 however while he was closing the gap to the leaders it was all too late after they had already broken away somewhat by then.

While this event had the most ex*****on challenges since he moved to Senior he was happy to still pick up P2 on the day and increase his championship lead!

Dan had a great day landing pole position in qually followed by all 3 heat wins! While the setup wasn’t perfect we were satisfied with the ex*****on for Dan to get P1 and another clean sweep this season!

The team would like to welcome their newest endurance racing team member Ben Meaty Pies Carnegie. Ben has some years of experience behind the wheel of karts and cars however he only recently joined Auskart Racing in 2025.
He has made quite an impression with a number of podiums and is currently running in the top three of the Auskart Senior Heavy Sprint Championship.
Ben will now join Dan and Jay in the Auskart Senior Heavy Endurance Championship. We are looking forward to driving with Ben for the remainder of the 2026 Endurance season!

Saturday 9 May was Round 3 of the Auskart Racing Sprint Series at the Cooloola Coast Kart Club and the team were there to keep their momentum going in 2026!

Jensen returned in Senior Light class and once again had a great run securing pole position and 3 heats wins. In the final heat he had a collision on the last lap, he redressed and missed a clean sweep settling for P2 just 0.062 seconds behind the winner! With that he took another win for the event!!

Dan in the Senior Heavy class had a less than ideal qualifying securing P4. This however was good enough to set him up for wins in heats 1 & 2. Heat 3 and running P2, he encountered an unfortunate yellow light section for the entire race in his stronger section of the track, this prevented a certain passing opportunity and needing to settle for P2. Running off P2 for the final down the outside didn’t quite work out when he copped a solid bump in the first corner melee sending him off track and losing multiple positions. He did however recover positions to finish P4. Despite the chaos encountered in the final heat, he also managed to secure P1 for the meeting!

Another P1 for Jensen and P1 for Dan, lets keep the momentum going!!!
