THE BLANCHETOWN SWAN REACH REDBACKS ARE PREPARING TO RETURN IN 2027 AND ARE AFTER FOOTBALL AND NETBALL COACHES AND A TRAINER

The BSR Redbacks are calling on the football and netball community as the club prepares for a 2027 return in the Murray Valley Football Netball League.

Blanchetown Swan Reach Football Netball Club sat out the 2026 season but is rebuilding from the ground up, backed by strong interest from a recent community consultation. The club is now formalising its committee and coaching structure ahead of the 2027 season.

The club is seeking applications for coaching and trainer roles for 2027 — Football A Grade Coach, A & B Grade Netball Coach, and Trainer.

Full details, requirements and closing dates are in the attached flyer. All interested candidates are encouraged to apply, and remuneration is negotiable based on experience.

If you're planning to nominate for a committee position but can't attend in person, please submit your apology and/or nomination in writing ahead of the meeting. (Our EOI list doesn't count).

The exciting news... We're now recruiting for our coaching and trainer team for 2027:

🏉 Football A Grade Coach — Applications open NOW, closing 25th September. Requires Level 1 coaching accreditation, current First Aid and WWCC.

🏐 A & B Grade Netball Coach — Applications open NOW, closing 25th September. Requires Level 1 coaching accreditation, current First Aid and WWCC.

🩹 Trainer — Applications open NOW, closing 30th October. Requires minimum Level 1 Sports Trainer accreditation, current First Aid and WWCC.

Support available to obtain required accreditations and certificates for the right candidates.

What an incredible turnout at Sunday's Community Consultation! The support and energy from everyone who came along to Blanchetown Sporting Complex was exactly what our club needed to see.

We have had huge interest across committee, football, netball, match day and off-field roles – with many people willing to support. It's clear our community wants to see BSR Redbacks back on the field in 2027, and we couldn't be more grateful. ❤️🖤🤍
