The rescheduled Wenske Challenge Meeting is officially ON! 🔥

After Mother Nature had other plans the first time around, we’re ready to get back on track and make this one count! 😎

🏁 WENSKE 100 OPEN EVENT - IMPORTANT UPDATE 🏁

After a weather-related postponement (and gosh did we all get some rain), we’re excited to confirm that the Wenske General Builders 100 Open Event has been rescheduled to Sunday, 20 September 2026! 🎉💨

We know the postponement wasn’t ideal for anyone, and we genuinely appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while we worked through the options. There’s never a perfect solution when rescheduling a major event, but we’re thrilled to have a date locked in and can’t wait to see everyone back at the track.

📣 100 Open Nominated Drivers

I will be in contact directly with all drivers who were nominated for the original Wenske 100 Open to confirm whether you are still able to participate on the new date of 20 September 2026.

Please keep an eye out for that communication and respond as soon as you can so we can get everything finalised.

📣 ALL other classes - You will be able to nominate for this race meeting as per standard scheduling timeframes.

🚨 RACE MEETING POSTPONED 🚨

It is with huge disappointment that the Blanchetown Dirt Kart Club Committee has made the difficult decision to postpone this Sunday’s Wenske General Builders 100 Open Race Meeting due to the forecast weather conditions.

With significant rainfall now predicted over the weekend, the committee believes this is the safest decision for our drivers, officials, volunteers and spectators, while also protecting the racing surface.

We know many competitors, families and supporters were looking forward to what promised to be an incredible day of racing, and we share your disappointment. However, safety must always come first.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

🏁 100 Open competitors – Your nomination can remain in place for the rescheduled Wenske General Builders 100 Open unless you advise us otherwise. We will be in touch with all nominated drivers once the new date has been confirmed.

💰 All other classes – Entry fees will be fully refunded. Please allow us a little time to process these refunds.

The committee is already working to secure a new date for the Wenske General Builders 100 Open and will announce it as soon as possible.

Thank you for your understanding, patience and continued support of the Blanchetown Dirt Kart Club. While this isn’t the outcome any of us were hoping for, we’re committed to bringing you an even bigger and better event when conditions allow.
