Berrinba parkrun is free, weekly, timed 5k event every Saturday morning at the Berrinba Wetlands.

Everyone is welcome to walk, jog, run or volunteer! 🌳 **Started June 7**
Berrinba parkrun is a FREE weekly timed 5km event for runners of all standards, which takes place every Saturday at 7am at Berrinba Wetlands Park, Wayne Goss Drive, Browns Plains, QLD Australia. Berrinba parkrun is FREE and open to people of all standards and ages, both as volunteers and as runners / walkers. We e

ncourage people of every ability to take part, from those taking their first steps in running to Olympians, from juniors 5 years or older to those with decades of experience. All runners receive encouragement and enjoy being part of a community event open to all standards. Equally, our volunteer teams come from a huge variety of backgrounds and we urge everybody to get involved in organising their local events at least 3 times per year.

Happy Parkrun Eve, formally known as Friday. Who's excited for our first Spring parkrun tomorrow?
That being said, the weather is promising to be good for the morning with my weather app telling me it's going to be 13 degrees. Good for chasing that PB before it starts getting too hot.
To our volunteers, please arrive from about 6.30am (if we're not there, we won't be far away). If you are joining us for the first time, we'd love to see you at 6.50am for a first-timers briefing. Our general run brief will be at 6.55am, ahead of our scheduled 7am kick-off.
If anyone is celebrating a milestone and wants a shout out, drop us a message or come see us in the morning.

Hi everyone,
Just a quick reminder regarding participating with dogs before the weekend rolls around. We love our four legged, furry friends, but for everyone's safety we ask that familiarise yourself with the rules regarding dog's leads in the image below. This makes sure everyone, including your pups, can enjoy the fresh air and companionship safely every Saturday morning.
