Berrinba parkrun is free, weekly, timed 5k event every Saturday morning at the Berrinba Wetlands.

Everyone is welcome to walk, jog, run or volunteer! 🌳 **Started June 7**
Berrinba parkrun is a FREE weekly timed 5km event for runners of all standards, which takes place every Saturday at 7am at Berrinba Wetlands Park, Wayne Goss Drive, Browns Plains, QLD Australia. Berrinba parkrun is FREE and open to people of all standards and ages, both as volunteers and as runners / walkers. We e

ncourage people of every ability to take part, from those taking their first steps in running to Olympians, from juniors 5 years or older to those with decades of experience. All runners receive encouragement and enjoy being part of a community event open to all standards. Equally, our volunteer teams come from a huge variety of backgrounds and we urge everybody to get involved in organising their local events at least 3 times per year.

Good afternoon parkrun enthusiasts,
We have been extremely fortunate (and grateful) to have a full roster over the past weeks, so to try and keep that momentum going, I'm getting in early again to see if we have any takers to fill a couple of positions for the upcoming weeks. For this upcoming Saturday, I now only need a photographer.

I have attached the roster for the upcoming month and highlighted in yellow all of the essential roles that we need to fill. If we can get these filled early it takes the pressure off the RD and VC chasing down volunteers closer to the day.

If you can help with any of these positions, please feel free to comment below, or message the page and I'll add you to the roster.

Thankyou to all the volunteers and the runners and walkers who turned up it was very cold this morning.

Results have been processed and photos will be uploaded later today.

Have a fantastic weekend

And good luck to every one that is taking part in the Brisbane Marathon tomorrow.
