Players born in 2012, 2013 and 2014 can take the next step in their football journey and be part of the FV Academy competing in the Junior Girls VYPL competitions.

Trials finish 9 October

Every submission is assessed by Football Victoria before a player is invited to trial, so getting the expression of interest in is the first step.

SENIOR COMMUNITY RESULTS

Geelong Rangers wrapped up the regular season with a strong finish — and Div 3 have punched their ticket to the finals.

Div 1 battled to a hard‑fought 1–1 draw against Armstrong, showing grit right to the last whistle.

Div 3 delivered a statement performance, 6–0 over Deakin, sealing their momentum heading into the finals campaign.

A huge effort across the club — let’s carry this energy into the postseason.

💙GOOD LUCK Peteille!! A fantastic opportunity awaits another Rangers player, our very own Peteille, who is also heading to Singapore! Peteille is joining the LS Talents to compete at the SingaCup in Singapore, an international youth football tournament bringing together young players and teams from around the world. A wonderful experience to create memories both on and off the pitch with her squad.

LS Talents Victoria is incredibly excited to announce that **16-year-old Peteille Frequin Carr-Howard**, goalkeeper and **2026 Captain of the Geelong Rangers Senior Women’s Division 1 team**, has been selected for our **U16 Girls SingaCup 2026 Touring Squad!** 🇦🇺✈️🇸🇬

**We've found our shot stopper!** 🧤🔥

Peteille is a goalkeeper with all the attributes you want from the player standing between the posts — **brave, courageous, determined, vocal and a natural leader.**

She commands her area with confidence, communicates exceptionally well with the players in front of her and possesses that priceless goalkeeper mentality — when the pressure comes, **she wants to be the one her team can rely on.**

And Peteille's football journey is going from strength to strength.

In **2025 she was voted Players' Player** by her Geelong Rangers teammates — an award that speaks volumes about the respect she has earned from those who train and compete alongside her.

Fast forward to 2026 and, at just **16 years of age**, Peteille is now **captaining the Geelong Rangers Senior Women's Division 1 team.** ⭐

That's some achievement.

A massive congratulations must also go to Geelong Rangers Football Club💙

Peteille is another outstanding example of the young female talent being developed at Rangers, and her progression through the club's **goalkeeper program and into senior women's football** is something the entire club should be incredibly proud of.

To be captaining a senior women's side at 16 and now earning the opportunity to represent her club on the international stage is testament to Peteille's hard work, as well as the coaches and people at Geelong Rangers who have supported her development.

Now she gets the opportunity to take everything she has learned and put it to the test against international opposition at SingaCup. 🌏⚽
