💙Day 1 of Country Championships at Myers Reserve and what a spectacular event it has been! ⚽🏆
It was fantastic to see so many young players giving their all on the pitch, showing great sportsmanship, teamwork and passion for the game. 16 Ranger players boys and girls across all age groups hit the pitch today in their teams - well done Rangers! We are very proud of you and good luck tomorrow!
A huge shout out to our incredible volunteers who helped make today possible. The canteen team keeping everyone fuelled with hot dogs, cevapi'sm hot jam donuts and chips, to the coffee station and cold drinks crew keeping the crowds refreshed, to the BBQ legends serving up delicious egg & bacon rolls and burgers, and the kitchen volunteers working tirelessly behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly – you were all absolutely brilliant.
Today was a wonderful reminder of what makes Geelong Rangers so special. It takes an army of dedicated volunteers to keep a club and an event of this size running, and the Rangers family once again showed what teamwork, community spirit and club pride are all about.
Thank you to everyone who played, supported, volunteered and cheered from the sidelines. We can't wait to do it all again tomorrow! 💙🤍
