Meet the 2026/27 BPHCC committee members!

As we gear up for another exciting season, we’re excited to introduce the committee members who are helping work behind the scenes to keep our club running strong.

This year we have each member having their own focus area so it makes it easier for all to find the right person to get in contact with.

In 1976 the committee of the newly formed BPHCC met to discuss recruiting and coaching for the inaugural season. When Terry Kelly’s name was raised the committee were unanimous. Terry was a Bell Post Hill man thru and through. Although his cricket career had been predominantly at Newton and most recently St Peters he took little convincing to take on the role.
Terry’s star player that year was keeper/batsman Vic Williams, who made 2 centuries including one in the grand final.
During his time at the club his favourite player was Ross Aylmer.
Whilst his playing career at The Hill was short he also went on to be president of the club for 4 years, a life member and father to club stalwarts Adam and Trent. Sadly Terry passed away in 2017,
Trent remembers “ Dad always had a great love for BPHCC, even when he was sick the club winning gave him happiness”

Our 10% challenge is open tomorrow!

If you have any questions please reach out.

Challenge activities are:
- Improving time on a 1km run
- How many body weight squats you can do in 1 min
- How many body weight lunges you can do in 1 min (30 seconds each side)
- Standing jump by distance
- Plank time till fail

Winning results will be calculated based on the biggest improvement in time/reps throughout the challenge period.

We are excited to announce FREE JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP to all players between the ages of 9 and 16 years for the upcoming season!

Junior sides are integral to the foundation of any sports club and we love seeing the younger generation pick up a bat or ball and having a great time playing the game.

Off Season Soccer!

5 a side soccer will be running on Wednesday nights starting 10th June for BPHCC players.

6pm at the Bell Post Hill netball courts.

Player Card Episode 7 🔴🔵

Great news as we are pleased to announce Kris Spender will return to Myers Reserve for the 2026/27 season. Kris had an excellent first season at the Hill winning the 2XI league bowling average. He returns hungry to help the sides make a big push in the upcoming season.

Please welcome Kris and his partner Tamika back to the Hill, we all look forward to seeing you back in action again!

Coming back after a breakout season is Tyler James! His contributions in the 1sts towards the end of last season was valuable in clinching a finals berth. Looking forward to more of the same this year.

Bell Post Hill Cricket Club would like to thank all the volunteers around the club. Local sporting clubs can’t run without volunteers, so every bit of help is greatly appreciated and makes the club a better place!

Time is something that is sparse, so for people to give up their time to help out the club it’s something we are incredibly grateful for.

We are always in the need for more volunteers to help things run smoother, so if anyone would like to get involved in any capacity, big or small, please speak with a member of the committee or one of the coaches.
