🦘100 GAME MILESTONE 🦘

Tomorrow we celebrate Chris Bonney running out for his 100th senior game for the Barmera Monash Football Club.

Chris’s senior journey began back in 2007, making his A Grade debut as a remarkable 15 year old. After establishing himself in the senior side, he took his football to West Adelaide, where he continued his development before eventually returning home to Barmera Monash. Unfortunately, Chris suffered consecutive ACL injuries to the same knee forcing him away from the game for a period.

In 2024, Chris pulled the boots back on, returning to the Roos alongside his brother Justin and good mate Jono Beech. Since then, he’s become a reliable and selfless member of our senior side, taking on the ruck each week despite often giving away height to his opponents. His competitiveness, commitment and most notably ever present smile is what he’s known for. To top it all off Chris achieved every footballer’s goal in 2025, playing his part in Barmera Monash’s A Grade premiership.
