Most women think explosive training is “too advanced” for them…
but the truth is , it’s one of the BEST things you can do for your body in your 30s and 40s.

Power training isn’t just for elite athletes.

It improves your coordination, bone density, reaction time, joint stability, and even your metabolism.

It builds a kind of confidence you don’t get from slow, steady cardio.

Husky Tri 🏊‍♀️ 🚴‍♀️ 🏃‍♀️

10 minutes faster than previous husky race.

2nd place in my age group.

Proud — but hungry for more.

Every race teaches you something new.

This time, it reminded me that smart training always beats harder training.

I focused on consistency, pacing, and fuelling properly — keeping carbs and electrolytes steady throughout so I never hit that wall.

On the bike, holding a consistent power output and cadence made all the difference.

But I also learned where I can improve…
I didn’t do enough brick sessions (bike into run) and my legs definitely let me know about it 🥴

The cool thing about endurance sports is they strip everything back.

It’s not about perfection — it’s about patience, self-awareness, and showing up with intention.

That’s what I build inside Her Move Method too — structure that supports performance, not burnout.
