Armidale parkrun Armidale parkrun is a FREE, weekly, timed 5km event open to runners and walkers of all abilities.

Armidale parkrun is a FREE, weekly, timed 5km event for runners and walkers of all standards. It takes place every Saturday at 8:00am (arrive 7:45am for briefing) in Armidale NSW. It is open to people of all standards and ages, both as volunteers and as runners / walkers. We encourage people of every ability to take part, from those taking their first steps in running to Olympians, from juniors 4

years or older to those with decades of experience. All runners and walkers receive encouragement and enjoy being part of a community event open to all standards. Equally, our volunteer teams come from a huge variety of backgrounds and we urge everybody to get involved in volunteering at least 3 times per year.

Thank you to the 217 parkrunners who joined us for the first 2026 Spring parkrun. On this beautiful spring day we also had 14 first timers and 18 PBs.

Congratulations to our two wonderful Armidale stalwarts Jim Scott and Ben Gooley who reached their 400 parkrun milestone today 🎉🎉☺️

Thank you to the amazing volunteers who made our event possible and for those who have signed up for the coming weeks. We just need a funnel manager and parkwalkers for next week ☺️

Thankyou to everyone who came along to Armidale parkrun today. Whether you volunteered, walked, jogged or ran, it was great to see you all.
Our volunteers wore the new vests today, they were very much appreciated and look awesome in the photos.
Thankyou Hayley for the fabulous photos!!! You even manged to get photos of the tribute to Dolly Parton at Marshall 3 (thankyou Jenny).
Congratulations to our milestone receivers, Prue Oxford for 50 volunteers and Lucinda Ball 100 parkruns.
Next weekend we need a timekeeper, so thankyou to everyone who has put their name down, it makes our parkrun so special when lots of people volunteer readily😀
