This Wednesday, we’re opening the doors to talk all things Advanced Junior Girls football at Altona City for 2027.

Parents, players, current Altona City families, prospective players, or even families currently at other clubs who simply want to come down, listen and see how Altona City is approaching 2027.

With Football Victoria making changes to the Advanced Junior Girls competition next season, Nelson will explain what those changes mean for the U13, U15 and U17 age groups, as well as what we’re doing at Altona City to take our girls program to another level.

We’ll talk through our move to three nights of training, advanced technical and recovery sessions, strength and conditioning, player education, our video analysis system and plenty more.

There’s no obligation. Come down, hear what we’re building and ask questions.

As the 2026 season comes to a close, we would like to take this opportunity, on behalf of our Senior Women's players and coaching staff, to sincerely thank everyone who has supported us throughout the year.

SENIOR WOMENS | FULL TIME SCORES | ROUND 18

A fantastic day at HC Kim Reserve for our Senior Women, with both teams securing impressive victories over Collingwood City FC to close out the home season in style.

Seniors – 4-0
Reserves – 3-0

A dominant performance across both matches, with plenty of quality football on display and two well-deserved wins for the City girls.

🏆 UNDEFEATED CHAMPIONS! 🏆

What an incredible achievement by our Senior Women Reserves, who have finished the 2026 season as undefeated champions!

Through hard work, commitment, teamwork and determination, this group has set the standard all season long, remaining unbeaten from the first whistle of Round 1 to the final game of the year.

This achievement is a testament to every player, coach, team manager, volunteer and supporter who has contributed to the team’s success throughout the season.

To go through an entire season undefeated is no easy feat, and this squad has earned every bit of recognition that comes with being crowned champions.

Congratulations to our Senior Women Reserves on an outstanding season. The entire Altona City SC family is incredibly proud of what you have achieved.

Happy Father's Day from Altona City SC!

Today, we celebrate all the incredible dads, grandfathers, stepdads, father figures, and mentors who play such an important role in our football community.

From early morning kick-offs and training sessions to cheering from the sidelines in all kinds of weather, your support, encouragement, and dedication help make our club what it is.

To all the fathers who volunteer their time, drive countless kilometres, offer advice, and share in every victory and challenge, thank you for everything you do for our players both on and off the pitch.

On this Father's Day, we also take a moment to think of those in our Altona City family who may be missing their dad, grandfather, or a special father figure. We know this day can bring a mix of emotions, and we send our love and support to everyone remembering someone special today.

A special milestone for one of our rising stars last weekend!

Congratulations to Cruz Vieira, who was named the second goalkeeper on the bench for our Senior Men's side for the very first time.

A dedicated member of our U18 squad, Cruz has continued to work hard, develop his game, and make the most of every opportunity. His selection is a testament to his commitment, attitude, and the pathway opportunities available at Altona City FC.

We are proud to see another young player progressing through the ranks and gaining valuable experience in the senior environment.

Chris stepped into the role ahead of the 2026 VPL2 season, bringing immense professionalism, leadership, and football knowledge to our senior program. While results on the pitch didn't reflect the tireless effort put in behind the scenes, his commitment to the development of our young players and his collaborative approach with the board, staff, and volunteers never wavered.
We part ways on amicable terms and with the utmost respect for Chris as both a coach and a person. He will always be welcome at Altona City SC.
