Spotswood Cricket Club

Spotswood Cricket Club Men's, women's and juniors cricket in Melbourne's inner west - new members welcome! All interested new players are encouraged to get in touch.

Spotswood Cricket Club fields teams in local men's, women's and juniors comps and also offer Junior and Master Blasters. Our season runs from October to March each year. Our playing grounds are at Donald McLean Reserve in Spotswood, where our clubrooms are and we have two ovals both with turf wickets, and Edwards Reserve in South Kingsville, which is synthetic and mostly used for junior fixtures. Social memberships are available.

🐝 WORKING BEE – PRACTICE NETS 🏏
This Sunday, 13th September | 10am–12pm

Our practice nets area needs a little tender loving care before the season gets underway! 💚💛

We’d love to get around 10 people down to help us give the nets a good clean-up and tidy.

🧤 Please bring your own gloves
🧹 We also need a couple of garden brooms
💪 And, of course, plenty of elbow grease!

We are incredibly proud to congratulate Rose Beckett on being offered an exciting opportunity with Greenvale Cricket Club, where she will be part of both their Under 18 Team and Women's Program.

Rose's cricket journey began at Spotswood Cricket Club when she joined our junior program at just 8 years of age. Through hard work, determination, and a genuine love of the game.

Last season, Rose was recognised for her outstanding performances by taking out the Bowling Award in our Senior Women's Social Team—another reflection of her commitment and dedication to improving her game.

🏏 We're Looking for a Woolworths Cricket Blast Coach! 🏏

Spotswood Cricket Club is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Woolworths Cricket Blast Coach for the upcoming 2026/27 season.

This is a fantastic opportunity to introduce boys and girls aged 10 and under to cricket in a fun, safe and inclusive environment. If you enjoy working with children and want to help grow the game at grassroots level, we'd love to hear from you!

The role includes:
• Delivering fun and engaging Cricket Blast sessions
• Creating a positive and welcoming environment for all participants
• Encouraging kids to develop their skills while having fun

Coaching experience is welcomed but not essential. Support, resources and Cricket Australia coach education are available to help you get started.
