Good turnout on the full bore range this afternoon for the 800 yard practice shoot. West, south west breeze with gusts to 12km/h. Lots of adjusting and refining observed! The King of the Mound 800 yard prize shoot is on Saturday 19th September 2026.

Congratulations to all participants in last nights 100m flyshoot. Matt N. Came first, John Y. Second and Robbie K. Took the third prize. Ross B. got the tightest group award.

Today on the 600 yard berm @ Duram Park.
Andrew W. Is the King of the 600 Yard Mound for 2026 with some great shooting. Jamie McL. Came second and John Y. Took the 3rd prize. Congratulations to all participants!

Tuesday Night was a bit of fun at WRC!
We held our 20mtr indoor 22lr prize shoot.
20 targets where 1 mistake takes you out of the running!
Ross the boss returned from some much needed R&R to take the top prize….. and well didn’t he come back with some fire in the belly!
A perfect score of 200/200 and they were that clean that no judicator was required!
In second was Joey, brining up the rear where he’s most comfortable was Mick!
Then along came Jamie with the smallest group. It was that tight I did question him on the rules and he confirmed it was in fact 5 shots and not 2!

Some great shooting for the night with some outstanding shooting from the entire line up!

Good turnout on a chilly evening and some great rimfire shooting at 50m tonight.
Congratulations to Jamie McL., 3rd place, Matt P. 2nd place and Clint J. Who not only top scored but also got the tightest group AND the meat tray door prize..Amazing!
Well done to all participants. 👍🍷

A dedicated group tackled the north easterly wind and spitting rain on the 500 yard berm today with some great shooting. John Y. took the 3rd prize with a score of 48/50 with 3V’s , Jamie McL. Came second with a score of 49/50 and 3V’s and Imosha V. Went home with the first prize with A score of 50/50 with 9V’s as well as the prize for tightest group. Well done to all participants!

Despite the 32km/h north easterly blow, a good turnout on the 500 yard mound today for practice and fine tuning.
The King of the 500 yard Mound shoot is on the 16th May 1.30pm.

Good turnout of members and guests at our club’s annual ANZAC Day shoot. John T. And Gareth J. took home the 3rd prize, Tom and Shane the 2nd prize whilst Andrew W. And Imosha V. With some great shooting ,walked away with the first prize as well as the ‘Cock of the Walk’ award for tightest group. Congratulations to all participants.
