💔 Vale Doreen Sheppard 💔

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to a much-loved member of the Premier Speedway family.

Doreen was a Life Member of Premier Speedway and dedicated many years to the club and the sport she loved. She will be remembered fondly by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her and sharing so many speedway memories with her.

Her contribution and commitment to Premier Speedway will always be appreciated and remembered.

Rest peacefully, Doreen. 🕊️
You will be sadly missed.

Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Doreen’s family and friends at this difficult time.

Premier Speedway Club is looking at streaming next Saturday’s Chariots of Thunder in Darwin.
We are calling for expressions of interest to put a night on to watch the race.

Once we get a gauge on numbers, we will advise venue.

🔨 WORKING BEE THIS WEEKEND AT PREMIER SPEEDWAY 🔨

We’re calling on our amazing Premier Speedway community for a working bee this Saturday 29th & Sunday 30th August 2026 as we continue preparing our venue for the upcoming 2026/27 season.

There is plenty happening around Sungold Stadium, with a number of projects and improvements underway. A helping hand from our members, volunteers, teams, and supporters will go a long way in getting the venue race-ready for another huge season ahead.

Whether you can spare a few hours or the whole weekend, we would love to see you there. There will be plenty of jobs to suit all abilities, and as always, it’s a great opportunity to catch up with the Premier Speedway family while helping make our facility the best it can be.

⏰ From 9:30am each day
📍 Sungold Stadium, Premier Speedway

🌭 A BBQ lunch will be provided both days for all volunteers.

A huge thank you to everyone who continues to volunteer their time and effort behind the scenes. Our club wouldn’t be what it is without the incredible support of our members and volunteers.

The final night of the 65th Nos Energy Drink Knoxville Nationals as presented by Casey’s is here 🇺🇸🏁🇦🇺

Wishing our Aussie competitors all the best and in particular, our very own James McFadden who will start from P3.

Jy Corbet will start from P9 in the B-Main along with Scott Bogucki who will start P12.

2026 Classic Champion Aaron Reutzel will start P5 in the B-Main.
