More thrills in store for road racing ASMG 2026! We are well past the covid hangover and looking forward to bigger numbers. In the 2024 edition of ASMG, 43 riders contested the red centre courses including the crowd pleaser ANZAC hill climb! Only open for masters games, the 650m criterium around the town council lawns is a gold standard course with flowing turns and a long straightaway to the finish making for exciting racing! Let’s go ASCC, fly the flag!

🚴‍♂️ Join the ASCC Graded Team Handicap – This Saturday 30th May! 🚴‍♀️

The ASCC invites all riders to a fun and supportive Graded Team Handicap this Saturday.

📍 Start Location: Flynn’s Grave
🕐 Meet at: 1:45pm
🚩 Race Start: 2:00pm
🛣️ Course: Illparpa Loop to Len Kittle Drive

This is a graded team handicap event, meaning riders are graded according to average speed. The slower groups start first, with faster grades leaving at staggered times. The goal is for everyone to arrive at the finish together — creating plenty of exciting racing within the race!

Whether you’re an experienced rider or trying racing for the first time, this is a fantastic event to get involved in. Stuart McDonell and I will be riding in D Grade and will be there to support first-timers, slower riders, and our more mature cyclists throughout the event.

No racing experience? No problem. This is the perfect opportunity to enjoy cycling in a safe, welcoming, and encouraging environment.

☕ Complimentary Coffee & Treats After the Race
The ASCC has organised a coffee van at the finish line, so stick around after the ride for free coffee, cake, and cookies with fellow riders from around 3:00pm.
