A lovely afternoon on the green with 11 players. 2 games of 10 ends. Some games were one sided but everyone had fun. Good to see Mandy and Allen back and both in fine form today. Also welcome to Jim, our visitor from Melb. Welcome back to Cathy who has been away for most of the year. All players hit the jack, some on numerous occasions, with Geoff taking out the winning money.

Breaking news that Naomi Brennan (formerly of the Alice club) will have her Ladies Pairs match live streamed today from Broadbeach! 🙂👌

The live stream is scheduled to start at 11:15am Alice Springs time.

9 players at lawn bowls this afternoon. Good to see Mandy and Allan back in Alice for a week. Always good to see people coming back and having a few games of bowls. A few close games with 2 draw games and a small margin for the other games. Jenny won the 3 games followed by Rob then Ligi. Lovely day on the green.

Thursday night social bowls has been going really well with up to 24 people coming to learn how to play bowls and have fun. Tonight there were 14 players with new players turning up. ( Finke event on tonight in Alice so numbers down this week) . It’s good to see the regulars coming every week. Social bowls will now start at 6 pm due to the cooler weather.

What a lovely day for lawn bowls with 11 players enjoying the sunshine. 2 games of 10 ends with all but one hitting the jack. We had one visitor who was the lucky winner.Josh has gone to Queensland to play in the Australian Open and we wish him all the best. All the best to Mike, Pat and Wendy who are in Darwin for the over 60’s competition.

Congratulations to Pat, Bruce and Josh for winning the finals in the BPL and Jonty, Jared and Hook who will also be representing Alice Springs. Both teams will be playing in Katherine against other NT sides. Well done to you all.
