To conclude a super busy Term 3, we invited family and friends to an informal viewing of our final rehearsal at the Alice Springs Youth Centre before our 34 young dancers head off on the Studio B 2026 Hong Kong tour next week!

Thank you to everyone who supported and came to watch! We couldn’t have made this dream a reality without so much support of our local community! We are so grateful.

We unfortunately couldn’t invite the public to this event so please stay tuned for the photos/videos that we will share during our upcoming tour! 🇭🇰🎡🧑‍🩰

2026 bbodance Ballet and Tap examinations done and dusted for another year! Thank you all families who supported their children to undertake exams this year as well as our wonderful examiner, Mrs Rebecca Seipel, “Miss Music” for playing the music (aka Miss Lucy) & to the wonderful Renee Brown for such delicious exam catering! 😁

Examinations teach focus, foster strong dance technique and discipline. We are very proud of all our students for their ongoing commitment to their dance training! 🤩

Studio B is hosting our FINAL fundraising BBQ this Saturday 5th September from 7am-12pm milnermeatandseafood!

All funds raised are going toward our 34 young Central Australian dancers who will be performing & taking dance workshops in Hong Kong in just a few short weeks!

We’ll have a sausage sizzle, cold drinks, sweet treats, Fathers Day raffle tickets and more - hope to see you there!!!

On Friday, 18 of our lucky junior students had the incredible opportunity to participate in the Telstra ‘Lets Dance’ program in collaboration with the The Australian Ballet and led by the amazing Paul Knobloch! The students took part in a ballet class taught by Paul, and then had the opportunity to watch the professional artists from the Australian Ballet warm up on stage before watching their stunning performance at Araluen Arts Centre the same evening! All 18 students absolutely loved every moment of this experience and came away inspired by the amazing class with Paul, and awestruck by the talented artists of the Australian Ballet!

On Saturday afternoon, a group of our 13-18 year old students were also so lucky to take a ballet class led by the Australian Ballet on stage at Araluen!

A huge thank you to Paul, The Australian Ballet & Telstra for this incredible opportunity for our young regional Australian dancers. It was truly an experience that they will never forget! 💕🩰
