Letting people know that have just been advised by marine parks that the old exclusion zone around port stanvac is now a marine sanctuary zone, to be officially announced soon.

Letting everyone know as of Monday 15th February, dpti are undertaking repairs. to the ramp.Replacing all steel pins that hold the pontoons together, we may be restricted to only 2 lanes while the work is being done, please be patient and considerate of other ramp users.

On another note, have just been made aware of a government website called ON DECK, which has a lot of boating related articles, worth putting on your home page, I found it very informative.

HAVEN'T POSTED FOR A WHILE. NEED SOME HELP. THOSE USING THE RAMP LATELY WOULD HAVE NOTICED THE EXTREME AMOUNT OF S**G S**T AT THE ENDS. I RANG COUNCIL TO TRY AND GET IT CLEANED, THEY CAME BACK WITH "ITS DPTI RESPONSIBILITY".FAIR ENOUGH, RANG DPTI, JUST GOT A CALL BACK, THEY ARE NOT ALLOWED TO PRESSURE WASH THE PONTOONS, BECAUSE THE S**G S**T WOULD THEN POLLUTE THE SEAWATER ACCORDING TO THE EPA ! SO HOW DO WE CLEAN UP A SMELLY SLIP HAZARD ?

EPA SERIOSLY NEEDS ITS POWERS DILUTED !
