What an incredible night at banner making! Tonight was all about preparationโ€”we were hard at work crafting backgrounds and cutting out letters for stock to make sure we are ready for game day. ๐Ÿ”ฅโœ‚๏ธ

But the absolute highlight of the evening was a visit from a very special guestโ€”๐‰๐จ๐ซ๐๐จ๐ง ๐’๐ฐ๐ž๐ž๐ญ! ๐Ÿซ๐Ÿ™Œ As a player proudly sponsored by the Port Adelaide Cheer Squad, it was fantastic to have him drop by.

Jordon was incredibly generous with his time, chatting with everyone and jumping in for plenty of photos. ๐Ÿ“ธ He even did the honors of drawing the winning ticket for a Port Adelaide AFL hatโ€”which he personally signed! A massive congratulations to the lucky winner, ๐Š๐š๐ญ๐ก ๐™!๐Ÿงข๐Ÿ†

Before he left, Jordon told us he was absolutely stunned by the massive amount of effort, skill, and process that goes into creating a single banner. He gave a huge thank you to the squad for everything we do for the club. ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿ™

Is anyone flying to WA for the game who travels light or has extra luggage allowance, who could bring an empty suitcase over? ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘‹

The story: A disability support worker travelled over from WA to SA for a camper trailer trip. Unfortunately, his wife had a bad fall in a national park, was airlifted out, and after surgery, they had to fly straight home to WA. Because of space limits, they had to leave two brand new suitcases behind.

The suitcases are currently sitting in Golden Grove, but we can arrange to drop them off to you.

If anyone can help bring even one back to WA, it would be massively appreciatedโ€”Iโ€™ll gladly buy you a beer or three at the pre-game function! ๐Ÿ†โœจ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘Œ
