The Adelaide Spectres are holding a 3v3 tournament on the 16th of September during our normal Come & Try hours (6:30 - 8:00 pm).

This will be a pretty chill casual event to give you a chance to meet new people and check out what the Spectres are about. Individuals of any height, basketball experience, or gender are welcomed 🏀

The format will be short games in a round robin of up to 10 mins and then finals. You can register a team of up to 4 or individually and we will put you in a team on the night.

There will be snacks! And prizes! And hats! And hats as prizes!

Take part in the LGBTIQA+ Youth Physical Activity Co-Design Project, delivered by SARAA in partnership with Preventive Health SA 🏳️‍🌈

SARAA is running a survey for LGBTIQA+ young people aged 12–25 — share your experiences with physical activity including challenges, supports, and what would make participation easier.

✏️ Fill in their survey (link in bio) — takes just a few minutes, and you could win one of 4 x $50 gift cards.

💬 You can also express interest in paid co-design workshops ($50/hr) at the end of the survey. These sessions will use survey findings and lived experience to shape a future program.

🏀🌈Join the Adelaide Spectres for our Season Launch and Come & Try night on Wednesday 15 April, 6:30–8:00 pm at Annesley Junior School, 28 Rose Terrace, Wayville.

This is the perfect chance to check out the club, meet the community, and jump on court in a fun, welcoming, low-pressure environment. Whether you’re completely new to basketball, getting back into the game, or already playing and looking for an inclusive club, you’re welcome.

What a way to finish the season! 🏀🔥

A huge team effort to take out the Grand Finals with a 38–20 win — couldn’t have asked for a better way to wrap up the summer season.

Keep an eye out 👀 we’ll be announcing our upcoming Come and Try soon as we gear up for the winter season and keep the momentum going!

Our coaches are heading to Sydney to represent Adelaide Spectres at the Sydney Pride Competition — we’re cheering them on all the way! 🏳️‍🌈🔥
