π GRAND FINAL BOUND β LETβS GO UNITED! π
What an incredible weekend ahead for the United Districts Titans! ππ
This weekend, TWO of our U14 teams will take the floor at St Clair in their GRAND FINALS!
π₯ U14 BOYS β led by first-time United coach Craig Hassam, who has done an outstanding job with this group in his first season coaching for the club.
π U14 GIRLS β making United Districts history. Our first-ever girls team in 49 years of the club, and in their very first season together they have made it all the way to a GRAND FINAL!
That is something these girls, their coaches, families and our entire club should be incredibly proud of.

This weekend
β° 10:30am
We want to see as much NAVY & BLUE in the stadium as possible. Get behind our kids, make some noise and show them what the United family is all about!
BUT THEREβS SOMETHING JUST AS IMPORTANT AS THE RESULT.
A Grand Final brings excitement, pressure and emotion β for players, coaches AND spectators.
When you attend a United game, you arenβt only representing yourself.
You are representing UNITED.
Our expectations donβt change because itβs a Grand Final.
Players β play hard, play fair, respect your teammates, opponents, coaches and officials. Control what you can control. A refereeβs decision is not an invitation for an argument.
Parents and spectators β support our kids. Donβt coach from the sideline. Donβt abuse officials. Donβt engage with opposition players, coaches or spectators. Donβt turn a junior basketball game into something it isnβt.
π Cheer our players.
π Encourage effort.
π Celebrate great basketball.
π Show respect β win or lose.
π Let the coaches coach.
π Let the referees referee.
Our club is built around Family, Community, Friendship, Growth, Respect and Unity.
Those values matter most when emotions are running high.
π¨ DONβT BE THAT PARENT. π¨
Donβt be the parent screaming at a referee.
Donβt be the parent coaching every possession from the sideline.
Donβt be the parent arguing with opposition supporters.
Donβt be the parent whose behaviour embarrasses their child, their team or their club.
These are junior athletes.
Let them compete.
Let them make mistakes.
Let them learn.
Let them enjoy their Grand Final.
Be loud. Be passionate. Be proud. But be respectful.
The reputation of United is carried by every player, coach, parent and supporter who walks through those doors.
Regardless of what happens on the scoreboard, we want our kids walking out of St Clair knowing they represented themselves, their families and UNITED with pride.
