🎥 What is it really like to become a Pilates teacher?

We asked one of the participants in our current BEyond PILATES® Teacher Training to share her experience — why she started, what she’s learning, and how the training is changing the way she understands movement and the body.

Our Comprehensive Teacher Training is a 500-hour program.

The course itself runs from August through June, with intensive education and practical training throughout the year. After June, participants continue completing their required observation, self-practice, assisting and teaching hours until the full 500 hours are completed.

Because becoming a great teacher takes more than learning exercises.

It takes practice.

It takes learning how to see, cue and correct the individual in front of you.

This summer I’m spending my time teaching Pilates in Los Angeles, continuing to learn, grow, and be inspired every single day.

One of the things I love most about Pilates is that every client, every class, and every studio offers new perspectives. These experiences continue to shape me as a teacher and educator.
