As per Legendary tradition, the Legends gather this Saturday at 19:00 Hrs (CAT) for their Annual General Meeting.

That is where a post-mortem of the previous year will be done, reports received and recommendations made to shape chinhu chema Dhara.

CELEBRATING ROYALTY

The Shumba Mutasa's of Manicaland are revered and respected throughout the Province. Their Chieftainship stretch from the Heart of Mutare CBD to the Border line with Mozambique in Honde Valley and Nyarerwe River in Nyanga as well as to the Grid just before Kriste Mambo as you travel towards Rusape.

Thus, the Mutasas are of Royal Blood and they rule the largest territory in Manicaland.

Today on a Saturday, we celebrate Royalty, musi wakabarwa Mambo. Our own descendant of the Mutasa Dynasty, our own Chief turns a year older.

Referred to in Street Lingo as "Walla", we wish our Legend, Wallace Mutasa a Happy Eartstrong Day today. Age with Grace Chief.

Xmas time is time to Gather, Dance, Eat, Drink and Celebrate. It is that time that we look into the Year tone by in retrospect, celebrating the achievements by some of us.

On Friday, the esteemed and exemplary Legends gather in Troutbeck at Padanda Resort for a night of celebration, drinking and Awarding all those deserving.

It is a unique and rare gathering of Social Soccer maestros, where the deserving Legends will be awarded with full Legendary honours, befitting of an organized and pioneering Social Soccer Club from Nyanga.

For Members, it's $10, Couples $20, Non Fully Subscribed Members $20 and for Non Members it's $20.

Mutare and Nyanga holds something of significance. They're both in Manicaland Province and the former is the Capital. Separated by only 97 km, Mutare becomes the place to be for Nyangarians for business errands, entertainment and social interactions.

Among the prevalent Social Soccer Clubs in Mutare, Chipolopolo, Wolves, Econet and of late Socco stands out. SOCCO Golden Stars, the rising and vibrant Boozers Club celebrates it's 2nd Anniversary this month amidst having hosted Freeman HKD's Gallis FC earlier this year.

For its 2nd Anniversary Tournament, SOCCO went for Class, experience and exposure by inviting an array of seasoned and accomplished Clubs including Vigilance FC, PANJAP, NATO (Gweru), Gweru Legends, Igwe (Mutare), SISAL (Mutare) and the trailblazing Nyanga Legends FC.

The Legends roll into Mutare this Saturday morning, proud of a successful 2025 social football calendar during which they travelled their furthest journey so far to play and win against GALACTICO in the City of Kings.

For the exemplary Legends, Mutare remains their cauldron, their favourite hunting ground and sacred home away from Home.

CELEBRATING OUR TROPHY IN STYLE

Barely a week after our resounding Victory at Hartsfield in Bulawayo, the flagship Social Soccer Soccer Club for Nyanga, Nyanga Legends Football Club hosts one of the most formidable and well organised Social Soccer Club from Mutare.

Fronted by Elder Givie Nyabvure, Wolves Mutare (Makava) takes a short 97km Trip to its closest friends, the Legends. We will be celebrating our Trophy with the Wolves this Saturday.

An array of activities have been lined up to commemorate this Event. It's a Match not to miss for everyone who will be in Nyanga and from around. Tinokutambirai nemawoko maviri.
