Gerren Muwishi (Bhiza) and Leeford Zuze (Monya) of MWC SPARTANS have made history in Accra, Ghana by becoming African Champions at the African Senior Athletics Championships. They represented Zimbabwe in the Men’s 4x400m running the Second and Third legs.
Team Zimbabwe won, crossing the line in 3:01.08s.

As MWC SPARTANS we are super proud of the achievement of our athletes. Their journey towards the top of the continent has not been smooth but they persevered and with great determination have succeeded.

LEEFORD ZUZE 🥉 CONTINENTAL BRONZE MEDAL

From bowing out of the Semi Finals at this very track two years ago, tona continental medal. Leeford Zuze has made the whole MWC SPORT and MWC SPARTANS family proud by securing the club’s first ever medal at an African Senior Championships.

We celebrate victory by Leeford Zuze in the heats of the Men’s 400m at the ongoing Africa Senior Championships . Zuze will return to the track today in the Semi Finals and he has set the goal as a podium finish.

Gerren Muwishi is also participating in the championships and the duo will chase continental glory together in the 4x400m.

MWOS has played a key role in supporting our athletes, Leeford Zuze and Gerren Muwishi, who are part of the Zimbabwe 4x400m team that recently broke the national record and is now heading to Gaborone, Botswana.
