Strategically nestled between the Triton Gym and the popular pub and restaurant known as Tin Roof, along Enterprise Rd in Harare, is Off The Hook Fishing Outfitters. Re-opened in late 2011 by partners Kevin Cunningham and Bruce Cooke, the shop boasts some 90 square metres of space and caters to the all-species fisherman with a wide variety of tackle and accessories, including such necessities as b

ait blocks and fish pellets for subduing those huge Nillies at Kariba. While both Bruce and Kevin are avid fishermen, Bruce is a long-standing fishing guide who has spent seven years guiding clients off the Mozambique coast at Inhasoro, and now operates in Zimbabwe with a focus on Kariba. As such, Off The Hook has a good selection of saltwater tackle, and hands-on knowledge and advice for anglers. Kevin will be found in the shop most days and is always happy to exchange fishing stories over a hot cup of coffee or a cold beer.
