💥Welcome to our 3rd edition of the Trailblazers Backyard Ultra being held on Saturday 28th March at Haka Game Park.

🏃🏼‍♂️ We are so excited for an eventful day, witnessing PB’s and multiple loops by all the runners. A day full of festivities, plenty of food and drinks on offer and so much more!

📝 Please read through the programme of events thoroughly, as this includes directions, kit requirements and a time schedule you need to adhere to. We will be starting promptly at 8:00am so if you are not prepared and ready to go we cannot allow you to start.

🧭 Please load up the course on your device, although it will be marked on the day for extra guidance.

🚑 Medics will be on standby for us all on the day - please note they are the only vehicle permitted to drive on the polocrosse field.

🚿 shower and bathroom facilities are available so please bring a towel and a change of clothes with you, especially if you will booking an ice bath or sauna.

🦒 Please be aware we are in a game park so proceed with caution both when running and when driving.

Gate opens at 6:00am
Registration is from 6:15am
Race briefing is at 7:45am
Event starts at 8:00am

No cooler boxes and braais are permitted - please support your service providers.

_10km Trail Run_:
Scenic, climbing, fast descent, runnable, finish on the golf course, simply beautiful!

_20km Trail Run:_
Incredibly scenic, some hard climbing, technical areas, river crossings, some fast runnable areas, at some point you need to stop and take in the breathtaking views!

In partnership with Trailblazers, we’re hosting a trail run on DripTech’s blueberry farm in Juru, just 40 km from Harare. All money raised goes to Round Table and Jairos Jiri.

Choose between 8km or 16km, with cool-down stations featuring misters, sprinklers, and our big mistblowers.

Please join our Trailblazers team with this community drive we are doing:

We are collecting pre-loved trail and road takkies of all sizes, at all of our upcoming Trailblazer events, which we will gather together and send down to the Save Valley Conservancy in time for the Rangers Run on the 20th September.

Use this time to clear out your cupboards and convert your gift into someone’s treasure.

Please securely tie the laces together and place them into the boxes provided on the day of the event.

Let’s all come together and make someone’s day as joyful as ours, on how we feel when we hit those beautiful trails.

We have also set up a drop-box for your takkie donations at the Skotch Kart in Highland Park and possibly more outlets to come.

First upcoming event to bring your donations to:

Saturday 2nd August at the Art Farm run
