Chapungu Football Club's outstanding 2026 ZIFA Central Region Soccer League campaign continues to earn recognition after Head Coach Tererayi Zinyowera and striker Edward 'Kariba' Watson were named Ronnie's Sports Arena Coach of the Month and YA FM Player of the Month respectively for May 2026.

The duo have now secured the awards for a second consecutive month, having also scooped the same honours in April.

The back-to-back accolades are a testament to the hard work, discipline, and winning mentality that continue to drive the blue-and-gold Air Force side.

CHAPUNGU FC HITS FIVE TO EXTEND UNBEATEN RUN

Chapungu Football Club produced a breathtaking attacking display to dispatch FC Platinum U19 5–0 in a dominant Matchday 10 ZIFA Central Region Soccer League encounter at Ascot Stadium this afternoon.

The league leaders wasted no time asserting their authority. In-form striker Edward 'Kariba' Watson opened the scoring after just three minutes, setting the tone for a relentless performance by the Waru Waru boys.

Chapungu Football Club continued their impressive march at the summit of the ZIFA Central Region Soccer League with a hard-fought 1–0 victory over a determined Good Morning FC side in an intense Matchday 8 encounter played at Ascot Stadium earlier today.
