Heartfelt Thank You to Mangoromera FC and Our Supporters 🙌

Yesterday’s match was a testament to the spirit of sportsmanship and community. Despite the scoreline, Deaf Panther FC vs Mangoromera FC was a game played with heart and determination.

We may have lost 2-7, but we gained so much more in experience and support. A slight delay in our arrival due to a location mix-up didn’t dampen our spirits, and we’re already looking forward to coming back stronger 💪.

A massive shoutout to the 25 fans who came out to Chitungwiza to cheer us on. Your presence means the world to us, and it’s wonderful to see the deaf community and hearing community come together through the love of football.

Thank you, Mangoromera FC, for the love and respect on the field. And to our fans: your support is our strength. We are proud, we are grateful, and we are one big family.

Homeless World Cup Zimbabwe is breaking barriers and creating opportunities for everyone, including those with disabilities.Sports for development programs therefore do not focus on the professional development of the athelete but focus on the social aspects and recognize the inherent potential and abilities of people with disabilities. Using sport as a tool for social change we use street soccer to break down barriers and challenge societal perceptions by creating inclusive spaces that foster equal opportunities for all.
