😂 *TRUE STORY*:plz read to end.
How I, a teacher, went to a rich man’s son’s wedding and ended up selling Freezits
🧊💰
One day, rumours started going around the village where I work. Everyone was excited because one of the rich man’s sons was getting married 😄
People were like, “You must attend the wedding, almost the whole village will be there!”
Out of curiosity, I asked, “So what usually happens at weddings here?” 🤔
And they said, “We dance… and drink chibwantu” 🤣🤣
As a town girl, I almost laughed out loud but I held myself together 😄
Then they added something that changed everything for me:
“Some people even bring things to sell because it gets crowded… people really make money.” 💰
That part? My ears immediately zoomed in 😭📌
I asked, “What do people usually buy?”
They said, “Anything… as long as it’s not expensive.” 😄
At that moment I said, “Yes. I’m going to that wedding.” 🤣🤝
The wedding day came… I almost forgot, but the loud sound system reminded me there was a BIG event in the village 🔊😂
I quickly finished my chores, grabbed a bucket of Freezits, and headed there like a serious businesswoman 🧊💃
When I arrived, I hadn’t even settled down properly when people started gathering around me 😭
Then I heard:
“Shongai ma ice? (How much are the Freezits?)” 🤣
Me confidently: “K2 mummy.” 😄
And just like that… 2, 2, 2… I was selling non-stop 😭🔥
Within about 10 minutes, I had sold 50 Freezits. I had to call home:
“Bring more stock ASAP!” 📞🤣
Same thing kept happening until everything finished. Honestly, I didn’t expect that kind of demand at ALL 😭
Now the funniest part is… while all this was happening, music was playing loudly and yomaps song came on (not sure of the title)😂💃
Me? I started dancing seriously 🤣
People probably thought:
“Awww Madam is really enjoying the wedding.” 😄
Meanwhile NO 😭😂
My real happiness was my pockets getting heavier and heavier from Freezits sales 💰🧊🤣
I wasn’t dancing because of love celebrations…
I was dancing for PROFITS 🤣📈💃
Moral of the story 🤝😂
In the village, everyone knows me as a teacher… and even when they were buying, they respectfully called me “Madam” 😄
But I learned something very important that day:
👉 Pride doesn’t sell products.
👉 Titles don’t move stock.
👉 Respect is good… but business needs humility and action. 💰
I still behaved like a vendor, even though I’m a respected “Madam” in the village.
Because in business, you don’t let status block income.
Sometimes you have to say:
“Today I am not Madam… I am a hustler🤣🧊”
If pride is standing in the way of your business… you might be sitting on money and calling it dignity 🤣💰
