FOREIGN FIELDS: WEEKEND ROUND UP

EGYPT
Former ZESCO United midfielder David Simukonda played the last 21 minutes as El Gounah drew 1-1 away to Olympic El Qanal in the Egyptian Premier League. El Gounah are winless in the league so far this season with two draws.
Across the land of the Pharaohs, another former ZESCO midfielder Pascal Phiri was introduced in the 63rd minute in Ittihad Alexandria's 3-1 home defeat to Ceramica Cleopatra. Ittihad are also winless with only a point thus far.
SAUDI ARABIA
Chipolopolo skipper Fashion Sakala Junior was in devastating form as he assisted twice and was named Man of the Match when Al Fayha beat Abha 3-2 in the Saudi Pro League.
This was Al Fayha's first league win of the season. They sit 11th on the table with four points from as many matches.
ARMENIA
Winger Joseph Sabobo Banda was subbed on in the 73rd minute in Alashkert Yerevan's 1-1 away draw against Urartu in an Armenian Premier League encounter.
Alashkert are currently second on the table with 10 points from five matches, five points behind leaders Noah.
In another Armenian topflight match, Zambian youth international Lweendo Chimuka featured for the FK Van Charentsavan outfit that was butchered 4-0 at home to Shirak. Van are bottom of the table with one point from five games.
TANZANIA
Forward Albert Kangwanda featured when defending champions Young Africans beat Pamba Jiji 2-0 in the Tanzanian Premier League. Young Africans are top of the table on goal difference with 12 points from four matches.
Elsewhere, Zambian striker Obrey Chirwa continued his fine scoring form, netting his fourth league goal of the season as Geita Gold drew 2-2 at home to his former employers Azam FC.
Geita are fifth on the table with seven points from four matches. They get back to action on Monday to face off against Clatous Chota Chama Junior's SC Simba.
ESTONIA
Former Atletico Lusaka striker Benjamin Chisala assisted the consolation goal in Nomme United's 2-1 home loss to Harju JK Laagri in the Estonian Premier League.
Chisala now has four goals and three assists in the Estonian topflight this season.
He played the first 79 minutes while club mate and Zambian defender Ricky Chanda who has three league goals played the entire match.
SOUTH AFRICA
Former National Assembly hitman Gamphani Jones Lungu scored a goal as Orlando Pirates progressed to the final of the MTN8 Cup after defeating Sekhukhune United 3-0 in the semifinal second leg.
Lungu now has two goals and one assist in the cup competition.
On the opposite end, goalkeeper Toaster Nsabata was between the sticks for Sekhukhune.
SWEDEN
Former Under-17 midfielder James Nene Sibeene featured when IFK Stocksund lost 3-2 at home to FC Arland in the Swedish Division One North(Third-tier).
Club mate Robert 'Sugar Sugar' Banda was not part of the matchday squad.
GERMANY
Striker Patson Daka started on his German Bundesliga debut as Hamburger SV went down 2-0 away to 10-man Borussia Dortmund at the Signal Iduna Park.
Daka played the first 67 minutes. Moments before being substituted he hit the upright.
In the second-tier, Chipolopolo vice captain Lubambo Silas Musonda was not in the matchday squad in FC Magdeburg's 2-0 league win over Holstein Kiel. Musonda is currently on the made for an achilles tendon injury (long-term injury).
ISRAEL
Forward Songa Chipyoka was not part of the Hapoel Petah Tikva side that beat Hapoel Jerusalem in the Israeli Premier League.
Chipyoka has been strongly linked to a move to FC Moreirense in the Portuguese topflight.
SPAIN
International left back David Hamansenya was an unused substitute for the CD Leganes outfit that defeated Eldense 1-0 in the Spanish Segunda Division (second-tier). Leganes are currently second on the table on goal difference with seven points from three matches.
Elsewhere in the Spanish second-tier, striker Francisco Mwepu is still on the mend with a knee injury and was not part of Cadiz CF's 1-1 draw at home to Real Valladolid CF.
Cadiz have become draw specialists with three draws in three matches.
DENMARK
Striker Edward Chilufya Junior was an used substitute when 10-man FC Midtjyland drew 1-1 away to Silkeborg in a Danish Super League match.
Midtjyland are fourth on the log with 11 points from five matches, two points behind Nordsjaelland.
DR CONGO
Striker Emmanuel Lyonze Mwiinde featured in Congolese outfit Saint-Eloi Lupopo's 0-0 pre-season friendly draw against Zambian topflight club Nchanga Rangers at Nchanga Stadium.
SCOTLAND
Former under-17 captain Miguel Changa Chaiwa was introduced in the 81st minute as Hibernian FC picked up a 2-1 away victory over Dundee FC.
Hibernian have six points from three matches and are currently fifth on the table.
AZERBAIJAN
2017 Under-20 AFCON winning forward Kenneth Kalunga featured in FK Kapaz Ganca's 1-0 win over Turan Tovuz in an Azerbaijani Premier League encounter.
Ganca have recorded one win and one loss in the league so far.
ITALY
Midfielder Joseph Liteta was an unused substitute for the Cagliari Calcio outfit that narrowly lost 1-0 at home to defending champions Inter Milan in an Italian Serie A encounter.
Striker Kingston Mutandwa was not included in the Cagliari matchday squad.
Cagliari have registered a win and a loss thus far.
FREE AGENTS
2017 Under-20 AFCON winning midfielder Emmanuel Banda, Sweden-bred striker Jack Daniel Kalichi Lahne and former Cardiff striker Chanka Solomon Zimba are still free agents.
WOMEN
United States
Copper Queens skipper Barbra Banda scored her 13th league goal of the season as Orlando Pride disappointingly lost 2-1 at home to Utah Royals in the NWSL.
Orlando are 12th on the 16-team table with 26 points from 22 games.
Still in the NWSL, striker Racheal Kundananji played the last 21 minutes in Bay FC's 1-0 away defeat to Washington Spirit.
Bay are stuck on 14th position on the log standings after amassing 22 points from 21 matches.
Mexico
Midfielder Grace Chanda played the first 72 minutes when Queretaro were bashed 4-0 by 10-player Monterrey in the Liga MX Femenil(Mexican topflight).
Queretaro are bottom of the table after five rounds of matches with three points.
Turkiye
Defender Lushomo Mweemba scored as Hakkarigücü Spor beat Bakirkoy Kadin 2-0 ok the Turkish Women's Super League.
Israel
Left back Martha Tembo played featured in Hapoel Raanana's 5-3 cup loss to Hapoel Tel Aviv. Midfielder Evarine Susan Katongo was not in the Raanana matchday squad.
