National Sports Council of Zambia (NSCZ) was proud to attend the FIP Promises Lusaka – First Capital Bank Padel Cup 2026 finals at Summit Sports Arena.

We witnessed talent, passion and sportsmanship from Zambia’s next generation of padel champions. A huge thank you to the International Padel Federation (FIP), Zambia Padel Federation, and Summit Sports Arena for putting together this junior tournament.

Sport is a powerful tool for youth development and events like these create real pathways for our young athletes.

Kansanshi Mining PLC gave a hero’s welcome to Zambia’s young cycling stars after their incredible run at the African Continental Cycling Championships in Ivory Coast.

🥇Luwi Chikomba (19) – Gold, Under-23 Women’s (made African cycling history!)

🥈Margret Ngoma (16) – Silver, Under-16

🥉 Richard Kashimoto – Bronze, Under-23

🏅Emmanuel Kanguya – 6th place, Junior race

The team, backed by Kansanshi Mining through FQM Zambia, trail-blazed to victory in Ivory Coast to put Zambia on the continental map.
