Boxing Promoter Pauline Mwape of the Kopala Entertainment Limited held a successful Boxing Promotion at the Baluba resort on the 27th June, 2026. The Board Chairman Col. Doc Wamunyima Chingumbe and Technical Chairperson Col. Francis Galufu Mwanza of the Zambia Professional Boxing and Wrestling Control Board were in attendance. The Copperbelt Provincial Permanent Secretary Mr. Lawrence Mwanza graced the event as the Guest of Honour.

The Zambia Professional Boxing and Wrestling Control Board (ZPBWCB) successfully hosted a Technical Officials Seminar on Saturday, 13th June at OYDC in Lusaka, bringing together referees, judges, timekeepers, and other technical officials from across the country

Participants engaged in sessions covering [rules and regulations updates / scoring criteria / code of conduct / safety protocols, equipping officials with the knowledge and skills needed to uphold the integrity of the sport at all levels.

ZPBWCB remains committed to investing in the development of its technical officials as part of broader efforts to grow professional boxing and wrestling in Zambia.
