A final preparatory meeting was successfully held between the Ministry of Sports and Physical Education (MINSEP) and the Ministry of Defence of Cameroon ahead of the WFF World Bodybuilding & Fitness Championship 2026, which will take place in Yaoundé from 24–28 July 2026.

The meeting focused on strengthening inter-ministerial coordination to ensure the successful hosting of this prestigious international event. Key areas discussed included security, athlete and delegation reception, logistics, venue readiness, medical services, protocol, and the overall organization of the championship.

Cameroon is fully prepared to welcome athletes, officials, and delegates from across the globe for a world-class bodybuilding and fitness spectacle that will celebrate excellence, unity, and international sportsmanship.
